I wouldn’t say it would be redundant at Cedar Point. Was Mystic Timbers when Kings Island already had The Beast and The Racer?

I’m not posting about the same thing every day.

Let’s spend the next several months speculating about the same thing every day while we wait on Six Flags to announce what they’ve already decided.

At 12:01 they’ll announce an extension.

The drink system works well at the Herschend parks. I’d love to see KI and other Six Flags parks do something similar.

I haven’t renewed my season pass, dining plan or drink plan for 2027.

I’d be more inclined to renew my pass if they announced they were committed to keeping the drink refill stations stocked with ice and were upgrading the technology at the turnstiles to get guests in quicker like other parks have done.

I’d much rather have ice for my drinks when I use the drink plan I paid for.

Camden Park the only park not rumored.

Six Flags St. Louis has officially entered a new era. The Missouri theme park unveiled its new Mid America Adventure name, logo and brand identity, months after Six Flags sold the property to Enchanted Parks in March. The rebranding gives the longtime regional destination a fresh identity as it begins its next chapter under new ownership.

The two Ohio parks may not get anything because the company is struggling and can’t afford new rides at those parks.

The first track pieces for Holiday World’s Cannonball! water roller coaster are now in place, but visitors don’t have to wait until 2027 for a reason to visit. I remember when people went to parks to have a day of fun and thrills with no thought or care as to who owned the park, where the corporate office was located, who the CEO was. The only thing that mattered was having fun with family and friends.

I can see Carowinds being sold. Nobody wants the lemons so they need to add an apple or two in the basket.

Six Flags Entertainment is heading back to where its story began. The company plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Arlington, Texas, in 2027, consolidating leadership and shared business functions at its existing Choctaw Stadium offices. Six Flags says the move will bring corporate leadership closer to park operations, including its five Texas properties, while improving collaboration and efficiency across its network of 34 parks and nine resorts. Arlington has deep ties to the company as the home of Six Flags Over Texas, which opened more than six decades ago. The transition is expected to be completed by March 2027, while Six Flags will maintain an office in Sandusky, Ohio, and continue investing in Carowinds and Carolina Harbor in the Charlotte area.

Cedar Point needs a wooden coaster like Thunderhead or Mystic Timbers. Something that’s relentless from the time the train leaves the lift hill until the brake run back into the station.
