There's a coaster at Stricker's Grove named Teddy Bear so clearly that means.... Nah, I got nothin'

Discussion of cornfields reminded me of this pic I took of some of the floral additions in Planet Snoopy during Coasterstock. If this were a video game, this is where we would dig for our next clue.

If the expansion happened behind/around the maintenance buildings, they could stay, and it still really opens up the possibilities. I don't know how flat the land is in those areas, though. That empty field to the left of FoF is just begging to be restrooms, though. I know that the actual plumbing involved is not nearly as simplistic as plopping a building down there. But in an ideal world, it's pretty underutilized space right now.

Well at least I still have Monday's shows to see them, hopefully. I had heard that was also to be "Jacko's" last day, which is upsetting as well. I hate losing people, but I also typically learn to like their replacements too.

You may be right about that. I generally only go in there the first hour after opening, when the crowds are still light. I wonder if extending it along Racer toward the Board to Death building, and then having the current Dinos pass-through as a second entry/exit would alleviate things some. It would certainly open up for further rides, food, games, and facilities to be added. Edit: Action Zone also already often feels really crowded to me, even when the rest of the park isn't particularly. I think the lines for the ice cream backing up clear to the big tables area, is part of what causes the feeling. Also the clog that all too often happens in front of Banshee's queue.

I agree with that side of the park for a Giga, but there's no room for a coaster leaving SoB station to go without impacting either Banshee or Bat. I think starting in X-Base might make more sense. Really, X-Base being its own "section" without anything more than two coasters has never really made much sense. Throw in a third, some restrooms, maybe a soccer game, starts being more legitimate

They're off Wednesdays. Shows other days at 2:00, 4:00, and 6:30, and an additional at noon on Saturdays.

I was fortunate enough to get to see the first two public shows of this at KI yesterday. All the dogs that perform were rescued from shelters, then trained a variety of tricks. The dogs are clearly enjoying themselves and are intensely interested in the frisbees. Getting the frisbee is clearly their reward, even for the tricks that don't necessarily involve catching one. You get to learn a little bit about each dog's history, and the history of the flying disk catching sport. Mostly, it is an opportunity to watch dogs enjoying themselves doing some pretty amazing things! If you like dogs, this show is a definite must-see!

Well, after the Tin Man boat (whose name I can almost swear has been repainted darker to be more readable than when I first noticed it) and the Scarecrow (corn field), I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Cowardly Lion. Just so that the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkeys don't make an appearance before this is all over. Oh, my, is that what the animals in Origins are meant to be? Beginning to think it's the twister that took Dorothy to Oz that has been taking down the trees in Rivertown. I'm certainly feeling beyond the rainbow at the moment.

I actually rode the train just after that Tweet although I didn't find out about it until later. Unfortunately it was late in a very long day, and I was taking care of stuff on my phone more than looking around. What I did see was maybe a couple new trees cut down that hadn't been yet when I visited Monday, but no other changes. If it was something else I missed it. I was keeping the layouts I've seen posted here in mind though, and I noticed there is a clearing just before the turntable (beside the train tracks on the opposite side of the turntable from the reservoir) that I'm not certain has been accounted for. I'll be there Monday again. I'll try to look closer. If actual construction (rather than destruction) is beginning there should be more by then, anyway.

So, who is this? In makeup, but not matching makeup, and I don't recognize him from the nearly dozen times I've seen the show... White pants, only Nicolas wears those but it doesn't seem like him. Did they change out the performer in Hand2Hand?

The title of that article is rather unfortunate. It basically insults the people who would be otherwise interested in reading.

I still use my feet and eyes to determine wait times. Very occasionally I will look on the app to see if a ride across the park is temporarily closed, if I think about it. I know that wait times can vary widely fairly quickly, due to fluctuations of the crowds.

Yes, the pics are from Cirque:Dimensions at Canada's Wonderland. Unless something has changed since Monday, the long haired slack rope performer is male.

Thanks for the info and that thread bump. I see its original path basically has been blocked off by, I think, the Cornerstone Café (or is it Grill), which is an employees-only eatery I've become a little fascinated with after noticing its sign while on DB's brake run. No wonder I couldn't figure out where it had been.

To repeat pics from another thread: I'm terribly excited about its return! X2 no less! Where in the park was the original tunnel? I remember going under it, especially when it was raining, but my terrible memory has left me unable to place it within the park.

I'd ask at guest services, personally. Unless they've had a rash of Turtles shirt theft, they should be pretty understanding

Don was a superstar coaster enthusiast back in the day. So he's sort of "one of us" in addition to being very, very good at his job. Especially when his job is keeping silent while not appearing to do so.
