It looks like the end caps of supports or something..
-
White crane is on the move.
-
The job site is fairly dead right now near the station/transfer area. Someone is climbing onto the yellow crane. Hopefully to move it over closer to the action..
-
And everything you see is just for the brake run and lift hill/drop. Almost everything to the left of the dirt road appears to be brake run. Everything in the middle and at the back all looks like lift hill based on how the supports attach to the track. I'd say everything in the back field out of sight is for the remainder of the ride.

It's beautiful outside this morning. Nice and cool.

Anything would be better than the nothing that it is right now. (Yes, I’m aware it’s a Haunt attraction for 4 weeks out of 52)
-
Yeah, the coaster will be completed before the trains arrive.

LOL, men aren't pushing that thing. You'd need many dozens of men to push it, lol. I think there's a lift of some sort behind it that they probably used. I doubt the hydraulics are installed yet to move it mechanically. Edit: They're moving the darn thing again right now. How, I have no idea. I don't see a crane or a lift or anything moving it. I didn't think there's any way the hydraulics were already installed, but who knows.

According to the blueprints, the top of the brake run is at 825.7' elevation, and the ground below is is roughly 740'ish. The station is roughly 740'. So approximately 85, 86 feet tall? Edit: I was close - Kings Island cites the last hill coming into the brake run as 83 feet. Height of Hills: 287 feet, 174 feet, 202 feet, 56 feet, 147 feet, 125 feet, 90 feet, 83 feet

I think it’s currently in the middle. Not flush with the other track, but not completely on the other side closest to us.
-
I'd say the second hill and the turnaround will likely require the use of those big cranes also.
-
I guess it's possible that it's a section of lift hill, but it's far thicker than any of the other lift hill pieces there.

Concrete is what I meant.

Are they working on supports for the brake run on the far side of the transfer shed? They're working on something over there..
-
There is actually one more long piece that goes in front of the station track labeled "L1" before the incline of the lift hill begins. You can see it on the POV video and the blueprints. The angled piece that begins the lift hill starts after the footer circled in red. I think the most massive support yet just pulled in. Thing is wider in diameter than the cab of the truck!

How fast does new cement take to harden? Because's they're already out there walking on it.. Oh, and BTW, they've slid the transfer track back over to its original position for now.
-
Yep, that first piece of track that was installed will be where the station is.
-
Exactly. The other people using photos without permission rule only stipulates you can't use someone else's photos to make a profit. NOBODY here is making a profit off of using someone else's photos unless they are taking those photos to another site.

It definitely looks like the "floor" of the station that was previously the yellow vapor barrier has been covered with a fresh layer of concrete.
-
^ Probably laying concrete over the yellow vapor barrier they installed last week.
-
It's hard to see a picture like this and not wonder just how the heck that delicate looking thing could lift something so heavy. I understand the physics of it, it's just mindblowing.
-
BOLTS. Lots and lots of bolts. For a coaster this size, you'd probably need a full truck of nuts and bolts. Must be quitting time for the day. About 10-15 vehicles are all leaving at once, lol
-
LOL, it has a blue top that was thrown over the side.
-
Probably not until JUST before the lift hill construction begins. Those cranes are expensive.
