The GCI contract was up after Gold Striker in 2013. Now that being said GCI has done some work with KI on The Beast so a GCI is not impossible. Really I guess what I was asking is "are we assuming its a giga?" and "where is it going?". There are tons of possibilities but we all seemed to be focused on one ride type and one location. There is no way a giga goes by Diamondback and Beast. They are going to make sure you can't see The Beast from the park. So what would you want it to be and where? I wan't a giga so that way I don't have to drive 4 hours to get on one. I think our woodies are still great and we can wait for some more innovation before hopping on the trend of RMC woodies.

So people have been guessing that whatever the blueprints are for is a giga coaster. I personally would love one but do you think we are off with our guess. Most people think we need a modern woodie, but the CF GCI contract is up. Is it possible CF does a one off with GCI or do they wait and eventually start working with RMC? Also I don't think this "coaster" will be going in Rivertown. I think it is much more likely for it to be in the area behind Banshee. I could see them move or remove Invertigo and have it shoot across the fence behind The Bat and behind Banshee. Or maybe with the eventual removal of DA it goes back there as an X-base expansion. I don't think removing the woods where the old WWC que was would be a good idea. KI really needs to save some of the trees around the park instead of tearing everything down.

WOW I just failed so hard LOL. Yeah I was completely off my bad I don't know what I was thinking. Time to disappear until another mysterious tweet appears or maybe an interesting idea comes out.

We got Diamondback for our 39th anniversary.... Huh? Confused Terp I was letting him know what we got for that year. That Diamondback was essentially the 40th anniversary coaster that was 1 year ahead because the former CEO didn't care about anniversaries.

Well this will make Coasterstock a lot more fun then I already thought. But the question still remains "Why so soon". Mr. Scheid said it would take 3 years to make the Banshee investment back. This will be BIG which will make it probable 20 million plus. I don't think KI is that worried about Kentucky Kingdom to rush into something. Just curious as to what and why.

We got Diamondback for our 39th anniversary. Mr.Kinzel the former CEO of CF didn't care about anniversaries just big rides. He just wanted the best rides for his park, while admirable kinda hurt some other parks. Ouimet is really who we are looking at here and he has made CP have 2 coasters in 4 years. I can very much see this going either way. I think it would make sense for a big ride to come and wait for 5 years for a 50th anniversary coaster. I think it has to be a coaster or a dark ride of some sort. There is no other reason to be showing blue prints this early.

With some of the mysterious tweets by Mr. Scheide I think we may get some hints about what is coming. Plus who can say No to that much ERT, free t- shirt, meeting other enthusiasts, and getting to know a great park. Missed out last year and can't wait for this year to actually take part in my first Coasterstock.

Don was tweeting pictures of Fury's entrance involvement and other parts of the construction. I'm not saying he had anything to do with Fury....but he could have been looking at it with KI in mind. Mr. Scheide was also hinting things at Coasterstock last year, Mentioned Goldstriker and Thunderbird. Rob Decker in that video did say he works on the 5 year plans. Maybe we are thinking to far ahead and Rivertown gets a new flat ride. Its would be 6 years since WindSeeker.

Then what do you think these blueprints are for then......maybe a triotech dark ride? They certainly wouldn't be teasing something for 2018 this early. My other big want is a multi launch whether that be an Intamin or a Mack but I think that will be saved until Vortex is removed.

Lets not forget Mr. Scheide also teased something for 2017 when they announced Tropical Plunge. I think the quote was something like "making sure not to speak about the 2017 rii....attraction.". KI is very good at teasing stuff without completely giving away what they are building. I think it is very much so a roller coaster considering 2017 will be the 45th anniversary year. They are fixing up the toll gates just like Carowinds did, and Don was heavily involved in Fury's construction and opening week. Personally I would love to see a giga hit the park and then the next coaster, potentially a 50th anniversary, be a big woodie that brings KI back to its roots and starts us off for the next 50 years. Either way I trust KI to give us something great and thats all we can ask for.

I do believe that DA had a 5 year contract so they should be gone either this year or next year opening that section of the park for future expansion. DA itself just isn't anything spectacular IMO it isn't bad to get away from crowds if you have a gold pass but nothing to spend money on. If they kept the dinosaurs looking like new it would be 10x better because some of the dinosaurs are just torn to pieces.

I don't know exact sizes but if you can get 2 clicks on the lap bars you are safe to ride any coaster, the wooden ones are the snuggest coasters for me in the waist area but I have seen people bigger than me get on The Beast. If I were to say one coaster to test with is Diamondback you can try the seat out front to see if you hit the 2 clicks on the lap bar. Good luck on your journey.

I liked S.O.B but I think a new layout would work better maybe deigned by RMC to be a much more reliable coaster and take it to the next step. Also I feel the next woodie they will get will be in 2022 for the 50th anniversary.

Like I have said I don't think The Racer will be removed if anything it will go back to running reverse or a refurb.

Lets not forget the Don is a Racer junkie he would fight for The Racer to stay up as long as it was a safe ride. I am hoping for a renovation to the front entrance.
