  1. I thought it was confirmed anything not green was for the wing coaster at Hot Go Park in China, but I could just have heard that on another website.
  2. Oh yes. It will break a record. "The longest Coaster West of the Ohio River and East of the Indiana Border!" Their is always a record to be broken! You do realize that would still be the longest coaster in North America, if it is bigger then The Beast.
  3. I think it is more likely they try to break records for NA. I personally think we will see some more clever marketing if this is a coaster.
  4. I meant how the park described the new WWC experience and how the Railroad would be different, but yes any ride could be considered "a new experience".
  5. I'm not going to get into the fight about what coaster is better, but people need to remember that everyone has an opinion. No matter how many rides you have ridden your opinion isn't more important then someone else. I know people who prefer Racer over The Beast...that is an opinion and just becasue I don't see it the same way doesn't make them less of a coaster fan to me. As for actual decoding, we know there is something going on in Rivertown. We have some clearing and markers, and officials keep mentioning that rides in the area "will be a new experience". I'm starting to lean toward team coaster but am keeping myself in check. Hopefully we will get some more hints or clues soon.
  6. Ummm yeah.. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/31913-decoding-episode-ii-rivertown-2017-and-the-falling-trees/page-113#entry730046 So how was it?
  7. I haven't, I have basically been confined to Ohio for the past few years. The only reason I got to ride Fury is because I got to make a stop with my Family on vacation. I know from pictures of Gronalund that coasters can be built in close proximity and small spaces, but with Delirium built in the middle of shock waves land kind of makes it hard to build in that area imo.
  8. I have heard nothing about KD other then Hurler getting changed for next year. Although I can see a dark ride coming soon because they have no large pieces of land that I can see a coaster going into, now if Delirium wasn't placed in the middle of where Shockwave was standing then maybe they could have seen a coaster soon.
  9. While on the topic of themes I personally would love to see a new octoberfest coaster. I know that means the removal of AE, but every year I get on it and every year I have sore ribs from the jarring. I think a nice twisty coaster could be named after something like the Lindwurm (a german mythical dragon) or in the same style. As for the Splintercat theme, You sir have done some research and I applaud you. I can totally see this being the name if it is a wooden coaster or even a multi launch. Also it would follow the line of names and themes CF has been using recently. You can go as far back as Gatekeeper for mythical creature themes, and yes Gatekeeper is themed after a mythical bird.
  10. Like I mentioned earlier, is it possible that it is a heads up for something about to happen? We did see some stakes that could mean footings are going in soon and maybe we need to keep an eye out.
  11. I mean different ride types are different experiences, a giga coaster is not comparable to Banshee imo. While you can count G's it is a completely different feeling to what you would get out of a invert/wing coaster. As for a "cowboy coaster" Mack offers some great rides that while comparable to Maverick are not the same level. Mack was the manufacturer I thought was going to take Intamin's spot in the top 2 steel manufacturers in NA, but B&M just kind of took reign. I personally welcome any kind of coaster type as it is something new to the park. Edit: Also maybe the tweet is a heads up for more clue's that might appear soon?
  12. I am so excited for when a US park gets a large Mack launch coaster. I have heard nothing but great things about Helix and Bluefire, and am still wondering why Mack hasn't made a bigger splash in North America. I doubt CF ever makes KI bigger then CP, but I can see them start investing just as much into it so eventually it will hit "resort" level park.
  13. I personally think it is for 2017 because starting "hype" for something 2 years away can lead to disappointment even if it is a great ride.
  14. I absolutely think B&M can deliver forceful experiences, after riding Fury I know they can also do ejector airtime. I am waiting to see when B&M will try their hand at a multi launch.
  15. I'm going to go off the latest "clue", which I have heard looks to be the fastest wing or wooden coaster. Now out of these 2 ride types the location screams woodie to me, I just can't really think of a wing coaster theme that would tie into the area. I personally feel like a wing coaster would work best in the X-base area or a possible replacement for either Bat or Vortex as both have good terrain to work with. Now if we are going a wooden coaster the 2 front runners imo are GCI or RMC. GCI has a quality product that are reliable and offers a unique experience compared to the other woodies we have at the park, the only downside could be capacity. RMC are the new guys that offer a "wooden" experience unlike any other manufacturer with their inversions and very smooth track, but the manufacturer has had some issues in their short lifetime. Edit: I am still not on a team yet, but this is what I saw from the possible "leak".
  16. I'm going to go out on a limb and say from the pictures I have seen that this isn't dive coaster track. Dive coasters have a noticeably thicker spine and these look more like the usual B&M spine. We obviously will know more in the future whether that be from seeing the sticker on the track or some footings at KI. Also wasn't Silver Dollar City rumored to be getting a new B&M for 2017? That is another possible park for this green track.
  17. I think it isn't simply because there is not 1 visible footer poured yet. While giga coasters take a lot of time and pieces you also have to take into account that there will not be nearly as much shipping time with it being so close to the park, theoretically giving them more time. I am just thinking that it is rather early for track to show up when Fury didn't even show up until mid June.
  18. I think you mean "woodie". I think it is more likely to see a large GCI over a RMC at this point, but there is a first for everything. That would also make more sense as it also gives Fury its time in the sun as the newest giga, and it would be a fairly large milestone.
  19. That was one of my first thoughts when I saw that all the clearing was so spread out at the start. Now I'm a little more inclined to think roller coaster as it seems to be marked in a pretty linear path with a lot of spread out clearing. I'm still not firmly on a team, but I think it is a lot more compelling to be on team roller coaster now then it ever has been.
  20. Mr. Ouimet has already said that he has no plans of changing the entrances at the King's parks.
  21. Lightning Rod has had its "soft opening" and updates can be found at http://www.dollywood.com/.
  22. Yes that is a support from Diamondback, there have been some marker sightings in the area that aren't part of WWC. It could be anything at this point but with some clearing out by the hammerhead it might be a possible interaction with Diamondback.
  23. I have ridden Fury, I was just stating that the layout mentioned by BeastGal would go away from B&M's formula for their giga coasters.
