Or go over top Banshee which I doubt they will do since they have options.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Logan Goddard replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
Looking back on that quote, makes me realize he could have been hinting at how far the coaster will go. -
And if you wanted to go "family friendly" something like "Taron" would be nice considering it doesn't have inversions. The only problems with multi launches are capacity, so that would need to be upgraded if we were to get one. Edit: This is Taron https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNs6oRhObc8. I would be very excited to see something like this come to Kings Island. Also I think Beast is perfect the way it is, there is just something about it that even after riding it multiple times a day I still get excited to ride it.

Honestly my go to replacement for Vortex has always been a multi launch like Helix, it has some great terrain for one imo. As for a giga coaster I think the most logical area for one is to replace DA and have it go behind X-Base into the land left over from SOB.

No date was given so I'm not sure about an announcement, but construction will start to happen very soon. -

I think the point he is trying to make is that they shouldn't be considered wood coasters, which they should always be considered hybrids IMO. -

Also is it misleading people, if he didn't have the same amount of information as you? -

Considering he has shown me pictures of the plans and was one of the first people to show that they were legitimate plans I guarantee he has them. As for missing something like a "lake crossing" that comes down to it being buried in a lot of words that someone is glancing over. I'm gonna say that most people have limited time to spend decoding, so that can lead to things slipping through the cracks. -

I know Goldstriker is a GCI that has the concrete slabs for the footers, so they have done it. Kentucky Rumbler was built in 2006, so GCI has had plenty of time to evolve. Like I said before everyone has the ability to evolve so the manufacturer is still up for discussion, I however am leaning toward GCI. -

The only way I can see them taking that back might be another attempt at SOB, new layout and NOT a rushed hyper woodie. -

I personally don't see a figure in the tree, but I am pretty bad at finding stuff like that in the clues. Edit: I see a gap in the branches but nothing that screams "that's a figure". -

^^ Also just because someone states something, without proof, doesn't confirm anything. GCI and GG can also do inversions on their coasters, so all 3 are still in the mix even if it has a zero g roll. -
Welcome to KI Central. For further speculation there is a Decoding thread under the Kings Island Forums.

^^^ I have heard that the action theater is being gutted, so those tarps might be covering something from that. It's possible that after all is said and done we see the P. VS. Z. attraction or ME attraction go in there, I have heard those have been well received. -

In the plans it mentions "Girder Truss", which led some to believe this will have steel supports. I personally think it will have steel supports to help keep it compact and require less clearing. -

^ Mobile mistake when I was changing some format issues. ^^ I only ever saw renderings so I thought it was white painted wood......welp I look dumb. -

I'm not ruling out RMC at this point but some reasons I don't think it will be them. 1. RMC supports have always been straight into the ground instead of the concrete structure that we see in the plans. 2. RMC to my knowledge has never made the supports completely steel like in the plans. 3. I think CF is more likely to "test" RMC with a Iron horse before diving straight into a new coaster. 4. This layout screams GCI down to the maintenance shed. Yes I know there are always firsts for manufacturers, and that is why I'm not ruling them out. I'm also very excited for the rest of this Decoding, even if it isn't as crazy as Banshee's. -

Yes the plans show that the support structure is going to be steel, this also explains why there are so few lateral supports. Overall It will make the ride more compact and make it take up less space and possibly provide better night rides. -

I think it will have a Prowler-esque drop into a layout similar to White Lightning, however that is only going off a overhead view so I could be very wrong. -

Not all clearing is for this coaster. I think we will see a 3000-3500ft coaster going in, which by woodie standard is respectable. I also feel like it will run parallel to and not interact with Diamondback. -

I heard it is an issue with the trains, apparently a part got recalled, because Rattler and Giant seem to still be running. -

Maybe, I still think Splintercat is better but that isn't bad. I just really hope it's not TimberHawk, there are just too many bird names recently.
