  1. Is the dip in the dining plan? I assume both burgers were. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 2020 brings the opening of meteor canteen as well as some likely changes to food services to comply with COVID guidelines. Also, during the off-season there was an image that appeared in the app regarding pre ordering food in park through the app (it appears that has been removed). Thread to discuss all things 2020 Dining at KI! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What I find most interesting about that photo is that apparently the park views Invertigo as a space themed ride. [emoji2375] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This campground is a different owner, not Cedar Fair. KI won’t be announcing anything about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Dewine hasn’t even mentioned amusement parks... let alone hinted at a plan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Orion has been dispatching daily all week. I wonder if they know something about a possible opening... or of they are starting to do ride op training.... or if there is an issue they are working on... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So the real question... should I upgrade to platinum now in hopes that they will open this season and I’ll essentially get a bonus free months of platinum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The only active ride in the entire park I’ve never been on (including up charges and water rides) is Charlie brown’s windup. The other kid rides I went on when I had very small children, but they don’t let adults on the windup. My son has been on every ride/slide in the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Apparently this is all lies. Tapatalk won’t let me delete.
  10. How is it so much louder than Fury? Even the lift hill seemed loud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The plants vs zombies 4D ride at Carowinds in their old action theater is pretty fun. I was hopeful that would be reapplied to KI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’ve got all five of my family setup with pass perks for KI. 3 of us have gotten something. 2 have never received anything. 1 of us got the recent 50% fudge offer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hang time is ok... But compared to a big dive coaster like valraven or Yukon striker it's underwhelming and lacks the major thrill of a dive coaster. If they go dive, they should commit and stick with B&M. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Anyone else have Kings Island themed costume? My son, who is a huge coaster fanatic, wanted to go as the constellation Orion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Fun place fit a hotel ... But the logistics of parking for the hotel and ability to enter /exit the hotel when the park is open would be tricky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. While dive coasters might be a "one trick pony" that one trick is amazing... (And I'm assuming you've never ridden Yukon striker which I'd argue had more tricks with the dive under water and inversion). By comparison, Copperhead strike, in my opinion, is a zero trick pony. It's fine, but it really doesn't give you a unique thrill. The stall in the inversion is different... But isn't thrilling. That said, I think it would be awhile before they put another B&M in at KI... and a dive coaster that isn't a B&M is lack luster (i'm looking at you hangtime) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I'm assuming it's packed... Anyone there to confirm? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My guess is that they are doing this so that the masses of people who come for haunt (and tend to stay until close) will be parked closer together vs having what are typically more rowdy guests walking to the dark edges of the Soak City parking lot. The implication is that those who come early for haunt get worse parking spots than those who come later... Which seems ridiculous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. It was ridiculous. I assumed they are trying to keep large areas open for when people flood in around 6 for haunt... But it seems crazy that those who come later get "rewarded" with the best spots. We walked from past Soak City posing to the front gate. I logged my complaint with guest services. 21. We went. Chaos is a walk through maze, in which the scary has been resolved and there are some "find the clues parts" Shipwrecked is a walk around. You need to ask and figure out where to start... Museum of mystery is a the haunt maze, but with the scary things covered. We were told it was a 30 minute wait and takes 20 minutes to compete. We'll try again another day. We didn't try blackout or the craft area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2019/september/kings-island’s-all-new-hallotween-offers-spooky-fun-haunts-for-young-scare-seekers Has anyone done this? Are the areas of these activities clearly marked on the map? We went Friday and they weren't on the map... But I'm guessing they might have a daytime map and nighttime map for haunt. (And this would only be on the daytime map) Any tips on where each adventure actually starts, and how to progress through the activities? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Any word on if the milestone was hit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
