September 2, 200718 yr There are many places that tempt your taste buds at Kings Island. Which do you prefer?
September 2, 200718 yr Buffet hands down. When I get EXTREMELY hungry riding rides all day (or filming for a certain KIC video), nothing compares to the deal of an all you can eat buffet.
September 2, 200718 yr Panda Express... Chicken and Rice and $1.60 "Hot & Sour Soup" Skyline... On I.R. is my least favorite, every time I eat there the buns are really stale.
September 3, 200718 yr I voted for Wings Buffet. It is the only place where kids under 3 eat free, patrons are not ripped off on drink prices, you can solid value for your money, and the food is pretty darn good! Italian Chef
September 3, 200718 yr I see more and more guests eating in/near their cars. There's a message in there somewhere.
September 3, 200718 yr I see more and more guests eating in/near their cars. There's a message in there somewhere. I forget what day it was, but one day this summer I got to the park on a crowded afternoon and if you didn't know any better you'd think it was a tailgating parking lot for a football game. That's how many people were in their cars eating, some people even had blankets under the marque. You are totally right, you'd think the park would take the hint. As for my favorite place to eat at the park? I don't know why but I think LaRosa's pizza tastes so much better at the park. I think its cooked differently.
September 3, 200718 yr I just read Delirium's post. My wife and I ALWAYS pack food to bring in. It's the difference between coming and paying $5 for a full meal and $15-20'ish.
September 3, 200718 yr I see more and more guests eating in/near their cars. The two of the three times I haven't done this I had LaRosa's so my vote would have to go with that.
September 3, 200718 yr My personally love Subway, maybe it is because I can watch my food being made, on top of that subway is good! I also love Happy Days Diner.
September 3, 200718 yr I like LaRosa's pizza. However, I enjoy BGSS. Its like going back to vintage KI.
September 7, 200718 yr Having worked at some of the food stands over the past 5 years, I would have to say the Feast House is my favorite place to eat. You have a variety of food items, you can sit and relax and it's air conditioned.
September 7, 200718 yr I prefer the Chipotle on Fields Ertel. Can't disagree with ya there. Mmmmm, may be a Chipotle night!
September 7, 200718 yr Sadly theres no Chipotle here in Athens... Yeah, there are Chipotle in Atlanta but there are no Frische's, Skyline, Graeters, Aglamessi's, LaRosa's or Demitrio's! Mmmmmm!
September 7, 200718 yr I like all restarunts at KI, except that i have to drink the most horrible thing when im there... [Coke brand drinks.] =]
September 7, 200718 yr I like all restarunts at KI, except that i have to drink the most horrible thing when im there... [Coke brand drinks.] =] The most horrible drinks? Did they switch to Pepsi Products?
September 7, 200718 yr Author angrymo -- you know better than to knock Coke in front of the Atlanta guy!
September 7, 200718 yr angrymo -- you know better than to knock Coke in front of the Atlanta guy! Honestly, Bashin Coke is like Bashing Santa Clause! <G> Have a Coke and A Smile!
September 7, 200718 yr Buffet hands down. When I get EXTREMELY hungry riding rides all day (or filming for a certain KIC video), nothing compares to the deal of an all you can eat buffet. Paid 50 dollars at wings for two adults and two kids........Food was cold, and dried out!
September 8, 200718 yr I cant tell you whats the best but the worst has to be Wings Diner. It is the definition of what a restaurant shouldn't be. The guy at the register didnt say a word to us, just rang it up and took my card. After that, we than proceded to the buffet where there were Styrofoam plates. I mean seriously, I know its easier just to throw them away but if you pay 15 bucks, glass would be nice, even plastic would do. The food was either out, or dried out. The selection was horrible, and the utensils and condiments were way off to the side. The cups were really small making you have to get up and refill it constantly. There was no music to speak of, and the TV's were on something like Sportscenter which is pretty boring w/o sound. The only credit I can give it, outside of the buffet area, the place was pretty clean. As someone said before, the KI parking lot at lunch time is more like a tailgate party outside of a football game, I have even seen people go as far as to bring mini grills and have a cookout.
September 8, 200718 yr Sadly theres no Chipotle here in Athens... Athens Ohio? I just took a college visit there today and while on the tour they gave us the Ohio University newspaper and on the front page was all about a chipotle going in. I guess it is going right where the old taco bell was.
November 7, 200718 yr I answered Skyline but actually I prefer Oscars for their much farer prices. Too bad I don't work there anymore, no more $1.50 large Cokes for me....
November 7, 200718 yr And it isn't called Oscars anymore, or run by the park, but that's a story for another day.
November 7, 200718 yr Mine is Stunt Crew Grill for the cheeseburger with fries basket. Boy do i love those waffle fries dipped in ranch dressing.
