fest at pki on oct.2 2004

Featured Replies

is anyone going to the fest for The Beast on oct.2,2004.i dont know the full details on what you have to be but its a ace thing and someother coaster club thing.i think season pass holders can go but not for sure.but i am going.who else is.

Info for this "fest for The Beast" as you put it can be found here.

My guess is that it wont be anywhere NEAR as fun as Beastbuzz was! In all my years going to the park, Beastbuzz 2004 was the best time I EVER had at PKI.

I am going to this event due to the fact that I couldn't make it for Beastbuzz. I heard Beastbuzz was awesome, so I don't this will be as good. But who knows?

The ACE/GOCC Fall Freak Out is going to be awesome!! If you can come, I would encourage it!! Here is the schedule of events:

8 a.m. Registration begins

8:30 a.m. Flight of Fear behind-the-scenes tour

10 a.m. First ride on The Beast

Noon GAME! Woo! Meet at International Showplace for instructions.

2:30 p.m. Lunch with special guest speaker

5 p.m. The Beast behind-the-scenes tour

7 p.m. Turn in your completed game forms

11 p.m. Prizes and awards given, The Beast 25th anniversary video, etc. in Paramount Theatre

Midnight ERT on The Beast

We will also provide some special "behind the scenes" tours of several haunted attractions, as well as front-of-the-line passes. It's going to be a very full...and fun...day!! As always, you can choose to do some, all or none of the planned events - it's all up to you!

Hope to see you there!!

What kind of FoF behind the scenes tour is it? Do you actually get to go into the drum?

We will actually go into the ride area itself and see the ride with the lights on. What the heck does that thing actually look like anyway?! Now we'll know! :)

Are we free to walk around, or do we have to remain strapped into the King Cobra train? :D

Yes, and it's $15 for Paramount passholders who ARE members of ACE and $19 for Paramount passholders who aren't. I figured most of you fit into that demographic.

8:30???? oh man, i gotta leave here at about 7:20! Where do we meet for that?

EDIT: oh duh, parks not open then, front gate!

As a PKI worker, I have been in the drum, and even had to walk up to the break run (twice) it's pretty fun, but looking down about 90 feet on a swaying tower isn't exactly the funnest thing.

I'm an ACE member and sent my $15 in so I'll be there. Additionally, with my trip to Japan a week later, it could be my last visit for the season. Though I hope to be there the last weekend of operation in November.

Have a groovy day!

I am soooo pumped up know. Thanks for the itinerary.

I'll be there and if my wife lets me bring one of her cameras, I'll take some pictures.

Just a reminder that if you're planning to attend the ACE/GOCC Fall Freak-Out event on Saturday, we're hosting a Flight of Fear behind-the-scenes tour at 8:30 a.m. Tolls will open at 8 a.m. for this fun event.

Unfortunately, there is no on-site registration, so this tour is only open to event participants.

Be there or be square!

Have a great day!

Where do we meet up at for all of the activities? Like where is the group supposed to meet up at for the FOF tour?

My only advise for you is to find some other people going to this at that time. There won't be much GP there at that time.
