tj426 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 what is your favorite food to eat at Kings Island? Quote
footballfreak Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I like Larosas pizza too. But the Turkey legs they have now are really good. I want one now. Quote
Gabe Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 i'm partial to the potato works in rivertown with cheese whiz..errr, I mean sauce! i think they only have 1 size now which is too much for me! a close runner up would be funnel cakes!! or anything at the most un-PC food stand teh park ever had--It's Fried!!!! Quote
Thrill_Biscuit Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 It requires a bit of running around between Rivertown and NU, but Fresh Cut Fries from PotatoWorks, and Cole Slaw from Chick-Fil-A make a good midday snack. Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I rarely get actual food at the park, but the one item I get almost every visit is blue ice cream! When we do get actual food, it's almost always Larosa's. Quote
MarketingExpress Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I always make it a point to stop for a funnel cake at some point during my visit. Nothing fancy, just powdered sugar on my funnel cake. Quote
Amber Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 We went on memorial day and ate at the restaurant by The Vortex. They had fruit salad and it was the freshest fruit I have had in a long time. The pineapple was the best. Quote
westcoaster Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 3 way kind of tie: larosas, potato works, funnel cakes Quote
Oldiesmann Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 RPW and Coney Skyline are my two favorite places to eat in the park. RPW has excellent fries and popcorn chicken, and Coney Skyline has that great padio. Quote
Hoeter Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I haven't had anything except for Larosa's in the Festhaus so that's what I'm going to say. I know I'm missing out on a lot of great things! Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Probably Skyline and fries for a regular meal. Funnel cake or swirl ice cream with sprinkles from Ralph's Ice Cream for dessert. I don't really eat anything else from the park. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 3 way kind of tie: larosas, potato works, funnel cakes But I thought it was Skyline that had three ways.... Terpy, who just had two....but not of those... Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Central Grill in Nick Universe has the best French Fries in the park imo. Quote
Beast Man Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Blue ice cream with sprinkles. Doesn't matter if it's from Action Zone or Nick U. Quote
Jasper Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Panda Express in the Festhaus. Then I love to go over to Action Zone and get a Slushee. Panda Express is by far the best food in the park, IMO. Then some of my other favorites are, Skyline, and LaRosas. Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Panda Express or Chick Fil A. And I must have Dippin Dots.. I could care less how expensive they are. I frickin love ice cream. Quote
DropZone99 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 My ultimate favorite food at Kings Island is Skyline, love it! I eat it once a week here in Indy. Chick fil-A is great too. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Panda Express or Chick Fil A. And I must have Dippin Dots.. I could care less how expensive they are. I frickin love ice cream. So you do care some, which you do. If they were $4 million a cup, I doubt you would buy any. If you would, come see me...I have some... Quote
dakota2112 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Where's the love for Outer Hanks or whatever it's called now? I am partial towards eating there. Nothing like sitting by the lake and eating a basket of greasy fish & chips in the early evening. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Where's the love for Outer Hanks or whatever it's called now? I am partial towards eating there. Nothing like sitting by the lake and eating a basket of greasy fish & chips in the early evening. Key word...greasy. Sigh. Terpy, who loves that stuff, but dare-not-eat-it, lest he have to worry about fitting seats and chairs, much less coasters, again! Quote
I_heart_pki Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Potato works and LaRosa's are my favorites for sure. I always have to get a couple bricks of fudge too!! Sooooo good! Quote
fanofbigmedia Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Potato Works - Large Fry w/Cheese with a side of Chicken Poppers w/Honey Mustard. I realize that sounds backwards but trust me.. the chicken is the side order here. Quote
House Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I like the Outback Shack! They have good chicken sandwhiches there, and strawberries with whip cream. I also like the open grill they have where you can get a brat right across from Outback Shack. Quote
KI41002 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I like LaRosas fries with chesse, and their chicken tenders, YUMMY! Oh and the giant pretzels... Quote
Thabto Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 This weekend at Coasterstock, I went to Red's Hall of Fame Grill. I really liked that food and it was a great value. The pulled pork was amazing! I also have to get the blueberry twist ice cream every time I go to KI. That stuff is great! 3 Quote
MDMC01 Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 My favorite spots to eat/drink at the park are Auntie Annie's, Festhaus, Chicken Shack (for their bread only; I haven't tried any of their other food!), Starbucks, and as of late, Tom + Chee! They've become my new favorite Grilled Cheese place as they always do it right. -MDMC, a picky eater who liked his Grilled Cheese lightly toasted.  Quote
