June 5, 200917 yr Of course one of the first things you encounter when you enter the park is the staff photographers for "Key Hole Photo". The group i go with dread this part and we always split up like fish do when you put your hand in the fish tank. At times, I have ducked in a store to avoid my picture. Does anyone else do that? Does anyone have any good stories about this?
June 6, 200917 yr I always just walk buy, not making eye contact (and walk the opposite direction from them). However, if they do say something, I politely say "no thank you".
June 6, 200917 yr Well me and my friend Jackie are just rude, right before they take the pic,we run away as fast as we can. So if you see 2 blonds running away from one of them, thatd be us
June 6, 200917 yr I always tell them I was there yesterday and they don't bother me. I was going to do it on opening day but I didn't see any of them.
June 6, 200917 yr They're people, trying to make a living. I find their job incredibly annoying but they do deserve respect. Kudos to those who politely so no and keep walking. Karma to those who are rude.
June 6, 200917 yr And they work on commission. For that reason, I will on occasion let them take my picture, though I have no intention of buying it. At Kings Island, do they get paid by the number of pictures they take or the number of pictures they take that are purchased? I have seen parks and their vendors do it both ways...
June 6, 200917 yr When I go I try to take as many of those as possible. My group will pass by, get one from every person, wait til shifts change and walk through again
June 6, 200917 yr Just why do you think they are so enthusiastic to take pictures? Maybe KI could pay the Gold Pass lot attendant based upon how many non-Gold Pass cars they turn around to wake some of them up.
June 6, 200917 yr Yea I usually stop and get my picture taken. I mean why not. Does it hurt to stop for 10 seconds to get your picture?
June 6, 200917 yr Honestly, it takes two seconds. Just let them take the picture. Makes them happy and you don't have to avoid them. There is no obligation to buy.
June 6, 200917 yr Honestly, it takes two seconds. Just let them take the picture. Makes them happy and you don't have to avoid them. There is no obligation to buy. Couldn't agree more... I always stop and smile for a second and don't mind... After all, if my kids and I died in a car wreck on our way home, our family could find that little pink card and buy our last pic online......
June 6, 200917 yr Wow never thought of it that way. We sometimes stop all depends on how hard my little beasties are pulling me.
June 6, 200917 yr My mom usually says "no thanks, i have alot of those pictures." *opens purse searches through pretending to search for the photos * then the person who asked her usually just says its ok or walks away
June 6, 200917 yr I believe they have a quota of pictures they have to take, but I'm not totally sure on that.
June 6, 200917 yr Well the people at Canada's Wonderland wanted to get a picture of my whole family, just us 3 kids, and then just the parents... kind of weird, and at Cedar Point there's this one lady that walks around the entire park trying to take pictures. I see her everywhere.
June 6, 200917 yr I usally only stop and get my picture taken if im with my girlfriend, otherwise I pioloty(wow, I totally spelled that wrong) "No thank you, but thanks for asking".
June 6, 200917 yr I usually say no thank you but I did stop with giga for one on opening day that I later purchased. I don't see a point in being rude to them. I've been on the receiving side of enough unnecessary rudeness that I do my best to be polite and understanding to everyone. Posted from my BlackBerry mobile device.

OMG!!! THATS HORRIBLE!!! remind me to smack you next time i see you for that! but i agree its 10 secs no biggy. its more fun when you do stupid stuff/make dumbass faces I just act like I'm on my cell phone. ok i have been guilty of this one before
June 6, 200917 yr When I go I try to take as many of those as possible. My group will pass by, get one from every person, wait til shifts change and walk through again Do you really? Honestly, it takes two seconds. Wow! Just wow! That is so funny, but yet it's not. Don't think like that, please. Usually we let them take our pictures in past years, but this year they haven't really taked us to take our pictures. Also, sometimes we do just say no thanks.
June 6, 200917 yr well i do find it annoying but i think the world should be able to get a little taste of how amazingly handsome i am........
June 6, 200917 yr in the mornings, we show a pink card from last year and they let us walk by, and then in the afternoon, like when we come back in the park from walking our dog, we just tell them we had one taken that morning.
June 6, 200917 yr I ask them if their camera is insured, and they usually laugh. We always let them take our picture, but haven't bought one in a while.
