A wire between Drop Tower and the Eiffel Tower..... Just a thought......

I'm going to take a wild guess and say the path will be the same, Eiffel Tower out past the gate (or to the gate) and thats it.

Sunday was Worlds of Fun:

...After he concludes his theme park tour, he will start making plans for his next big accomplishment: walking across the Grand Canyon on a high wire. The event will be televised and will be held in memory of his grandfather, who fell to his death during a high-wire performance in 1978.

For some reason, everytime I hear about the show, I'm reminded of the classic 1966 surf movie (The Endless Summer). Will have to check it out though :)

Thats a great movie, I have the DVD. I also enjoy Endless Summer 2!!

now that would be a pretty sweet walk!

Sweeter still, and a feat of endurance... would be this:

Only people who are familiar with Mason, or who approach Kings Island from Tylersville Road might get this one...

^hahahaha I used to live in Mason and pass that almost every day.

Maybe that is why SOB is closed, he is going to walk from the structure to another ride that is always closed....The Crypt!

I just looked at the park's e-mail about the walk... it appears that it will be about the same set-up as last time, from the tower to the entrance. I was hoping for something a little different...but on the other hand since I am going to KIC Day the following week I now won't have to drive back and forth 2 weekends straight.

Well it did say over 200 ft compared to the nearly 60ft Rick did.

Yes...I read over that little "fact"...but on the other hand, the park back then hyped that the height was 112 feet high for Rick's walk, not 60...so what will the 262 foot height REALLY be?
