Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm working on the development team for RideWarriorNation.com and came across this forum. I've taken notice of many of the things that have been commented on about it, and will work to get them corrected. If you can, please include as precise data as possible in your responses. I know there are some issues with the cards, and we are working to resolve them. If anything else arises, please let me know. This website has been a huge undertaking in order to incorporate all of Cedar Fair in it, and it appears we have made some mistakes. Feel free to continue to air your grievances, we appreciate the feedback and need it to make the site better. This site is by Ride Warriors for Ride Warriors, only all of you can help us make it better. Ride on.

I noticed that when you're looking at the rides and you want to narrow your selection by park, the "update deck" button appears nearly off the screen (at least on my browser). I didn't even know how repopulate the list until a few minutes ago.

I think the site is a great creation and can really be a portal for us "Ride Warriors" to come together. One thing I might suggest is perhaps a trivia type quiz with prizes. I think that would be real fun...

By the way, I love the opening flash video it is well done.

While in the "Rides" section when I click the "Filter by Park" tab on the left, I can't scroll down the list at all! Or on any of the lists on there. Other than that it's a great site! I like the video on the homepage as well. Oh yeah, where are the "creeds" at?

on kings dominion's Drop Tower card, it says that it's the tallest drop ride in north american (it's 305ft tall) and Kings Island's Drop Tower is 315 feet tall

another thing is that there isn't a card for skyhawk at Cedar Point, but there is a card for jr. gemini that has a picture of skyhawk as it's card front.

ps this is a great web site, and once the hiccups are all out of it, it will be in no dought in my mind an excilent one.

When I do the filter by parks section, it doesn't filter them. It just goes back to the way it was with rides from all the Cedar Fair parks.

The Kings Island Crypt picture is the same as the Kings Dominion Crypt picture. There are some repeats like that but the facts are awesome when you flip over the cards. Good site.

EDIT: Just saw this one. There are pictures of Son of Beast on the details side of The Beast. That kinda annoys me.

I am looking forward to viewing this when I get home. I have tried the site from work where we are running some ancient version of Interenet Explorer (version 5 I think) and it does not display correctly at all.

I have no clue if this is my computer or your site, but everytime I type in the URL it goes to the hope page, and half of the page is completely black, while the other half is the site, and I can watch half of the video and hear it..

The car on a gyro drop spins around while it is ascending. Notice how our Drop Tower makes one full 360 degree revolution on its way to the top.

kinda makes you wonder how the effect of the drop would be if it spins on its way back down...

And its isn't possible. Considering the tire drives that spin it are on the lifting mechanism. Once it releases from the lift mechanism, it can not spin. Sorry folks.

Thanks for the great feedback. As I said before, we will continue to work on the updates. For those having problems viewing the site at all, all I can suggest is downloading the latest version of your browser, as well as the latest version of flash. Hope that helps.

does anyone else think that the statue in the crypt's picture looks crosseyed?

Problems I see:

No way to update the deck after choosing which park to filter things by

The card for KI's Invertigo shows the one at California's Great Adventure

The card for KI's Flight of Fear has an outdated photo (that ride hasn't had fog or over-the-shoulder restraints in years)

Some of the cards have incomplete information on them (the one for Wild Beast at Canada's Wonderland lists the velocity at 0mph)

No cards for Congo Falls, Fairly Odd Coaster, Viking Fury or White Water Canyon at KI even though cards exist for similar rides at other parks

Other suggestions:

Double-clicking a card to view it seems a bit odd. Any way this can be changed to single click (eg clicking on a card will allow us to view it)

Change the functionality so we can click something on the card itself to close or flip it (rather than having to click something next to or above/below the card)

that is the same with me. I dont know if its my computer or the site, but every time i try and get on it, it is all black except for th enumbers at the top and the picture at the bottom left corner. I can also hear the music, and click on things, but i cant see what i am clicking

While I have a feeling a forums board may get rather messy, the site could use one because as far as I see it, the site is nothing more then an advertisement for all the Cedar Fair rides, rides we already know the stats for, the correct stats, I may add.
