July 18, 200917 yr Leave Congo falls alone I love that ride. If you have your hands up it feels like your falling out!
July 18, 200917 yr Keep Congo Falls, and remove the wooden piece of crap across the way and put in a dueling BM Invert!!!
July 18, 200917 yr Imagine a dueling invert with not 2, but 4 trains running... I think they could pull it off
July 18, 200917 yr Why not compromise and keep SoB and get the invert? Sounds like a good idea to me. I like SoB.
July 18, 200917 yr Before Kings Island gets rid of any rides I think they should put more flat rides in and do SOMETHING with the former Paramount Story area. That could hold 3 or 4 restaurants/gift shops, a few flats, or a very small coaster. I miss not seeing things from movies in that area and HATE seeing it empty.
July 19, 200917 yr Congo Falls is a great place to cool off on a hot day at Kings Island. A lot of people ride it. I would not get rid of it. I'd get rid of "the wooden piece of crap" that stands in the front of the park, and like a lot of you said, a B&M invert. The only reason that would not be a good idea is because Invertigo is right next to SOB - it would look kind of weird having two inverted coasters. But still, that's a good idea.

July 19, 200917 yr Or, Tower Gardens could remain a nice, peaceful area, and even have the water working again. Not every area small plot of land needs to have a ride plopped on it. Tower Gardens is one of my favorite peaceful areas of the park.
July 19, 200917 yr Alot of things can fit in Congo's Space. It's alot bigger than you think. I know in The Go Kart's lot coaster such as Afterburn and Balder could fit there with extra room!
July 20, 200917 yr Or, Tower Gardens could remain a nice, peaceful area, and even have the water working again. Not every area small plot of land needs to have a ride plopped on it. Tower Gardens is one of my favorite peaceful areas of the park. Where is Tower Gardens?
July 20, 200917 yr To the left of the Eiffel Tower...it contained the movie props and movie stones set in brick. During Fear Fest (now Halloween Haunt), a walk through is staged in it. It was once known as The Paramount Story, and, before that, Tower Gardens.

It is where Cemetery Drive is during Haunt.
July 20, 200917 yr they screwed things up when they called drop zone into Drop Tower, now people have to figure out which of the two towers they are refering to.
July 20, 200917 yr Oh, ok. I've only been through what was Paramount Story during HH for Cemetary Drive, when it was dark and I could see much. Thanks.
July 20, 200917 yr I don't think we want to start losing all of our water rides- just look at CP... Which perhaps not coincidentally has an upcharge Soak City, so to speak.
July 21, 200917 yr I'm sure CF would charge extra for admission to Boomerang Bay if they thought they could get away with it. Fortunately with the waterpark always being included in KI admission, plus a much nicer waterpark just up the road, I doubt that's going to happen.
July 21, 200917 yr That's not my point. My point is that since Soak City is an extra charge, Cedar Point has an incentive to put virtually all of its water rides there. Then, dry park guests who want to get thoroughly wet get soaked...
July 22, 200917 yr Fortunately with the waterpark always being included in KI admission, plus a much nicer waterpark just up the road, I doubt that's going to happen. I wouldn't say the Beach is much nicer than Boomerang Bay. It's not nearly as clean, and doesn't have any newer rides.
July 22, 200917 yr Somehow, I doubt the Kochs agree with you. They steadfastly refused to sell to that company that numbers its flags, and they'd be devastated if the Voyage sailed to Mason, Ohio.
