gigacoaster2k
I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but what is your favorite noise Diamondback makes, whether it's loud or quiet? My favorite sound is that loud, mean, goosebump-inducing classic B&M roar when it goes down the first drop and over the second hill. I also love it when the train makes that rattle noise going up the lift hill.
Colonel_SoB_fan
I like the clicky noise it makes as it starts to climb the hill until all of the train is climbing the hill
kjkjkj
I love the sound when each cars go on to the lift hill, that "clacking" nosie. I also love the B&M roar.

rotag
the sound of the wind swishing past your ears, & when the weights hit the water.
CoasterFreak45
The claps and cheers after it's over. It's just great to hear such happiness. Also, the car going down the hill.

CincyMan98
It freaked me out one day because I heard the creepy roar - like a ghost - and I freaked out so much!
Fear the Four
I love the roar it's so amazing I can hear from the far end of the parking lot next to Invertigo. I like standing under the first drop and listening to the girls scream haha and I enjoy the clicking sound so I yell click every time I go down a hill. ahank
For me, it's the sound of not hearing much of anything. The silent lift is very relaxing to me, and the quiet-ness of the rest of the coaster (compared to other B&M's, that is) really gives it the impression of rushing through the woods, especially at night. TopThrill
The last time I was there in late May or early June didn't remember DB have a load screaming roar, but today I noticed it. For me hearing that load screaming roar of any B&M coaster gets me excited!!
The Interpreter
When walking through Kings Island, to suddenly hear Kingda Ka's horn is so: * jarring, at first * comforting * odd Yep, I adore that horn. And those who were waiting for the ride to re-open learn to adore it, too!
KIfan1980
For me, my favorite sound is the following: "Station Clear, All Clear, That all clear means your out of here ... " It means I'm about to experience all the other sounds and feelings over the next three minutes that make Diamondback an awesome ride experience. Other options considered for favorite sounds include: - "Single Rider - row 1 (or 2 or 16)" so long as I'm the one standing at the front of the SRL - Agree with the B&M Roar, but for me that is a better sound when watching DB versus riding
DropZone99
I love it's new roar alot. You can hear it from X-BASE, Action Zone, Parking Lot, Boomerang Bay, and even from ontop of Drop Zone if you listen closely.
markr
Actually, I didn't hear the loud B and M roar earlier in the season that I hear now. I think something must have been changed to give it that roar. New wheels maybe?
ahank
I obviously haven't experienced this "roar" yet, either, considering the last time I went to the park was Ride Warrior Weekend. It could just be wear and tear on the wheels, or, as you mentioned markr, new wheels.
CedarPointer
Clack...clack...clack...clack...ROOOOOOOARRR!!

Than one day I'm walking to the metal detectors and I hear this super loud roar about 5 minutes before ERT started. And wow, it's definitely a new roar that is as good as Raptor's! Beast1979
I love: 1. The air horn. It means Diamondback is ready to go. 2. The rumble of the train exiting the station. It just sounds awesome. 3. The splashdown. SKLOOSH!! Need I say more? 4. That spine tingling, goosebump-endusing, mesmorising, beautiful, amazing, wonderful sound, The B&M roar. Jackson, who can hear it in his ears now..... Dvo
While it's exactly the opposite, I'm quickly growing to HATE that Kings of Leon song. I swear I hear it at least once in the queue every time I go.
flightoffear1996
The Roar by far but in a close 2nd place the water splash down. Sad to see the season widing down so soon!

And those who were waiting for the ride to re-open learn to adore it, too! Kingda Ka? at Kings Island? I am really confused at this post, as it has nothing whatsoever to do with Kingda Ka.... The Interpreter
But it does, as was noted early in the season. Diamondback's horn sounds EXACTLY like the one on Kingda Ka. Probably because it is exactly the same...
iChase
I have to say I love the screams. It reminds me that other people enjoy DB as much as I do.

Let me get to about 2 ft. from the darn thing and then I will let you know if it is the same or not.......I've never uttered the word "what" so many times in my life. jondrewfoo
ok, now i am not confused. you were pointing out that the horns were the same. that being said, i love the horn. its so nice, especially wen rides go down for weather, and all of the sudden you hear the horn. almost instantly, you see all the other ride ops getting ready to test the rides after they recieve their all clear call... The Interpreter
So, just imagine, you are walking through Kings Island and suddenly hear this trumpeting sound that can only mean one thing: Kingda Ka is about to open! Then, you remember where you are!
KI Kevin
Any sound that reminds me of Diamondback is a good sound.
The Interpreter
Some day I will doubtlessly be walking through Great Adventure, hear THAT horn and think, "Hmmmm, Diamondback's about to open!" Good times.
