What Will You Miss More?

Featured Replies

The only attraction that is leaving that I don't care about is Nick U. It doesn't affect me. I'm most upset at Scooby Doo. It was a fun ride and there isn't anything else like it in Ohio. Scooby is one of the best cartoons ever and I will miss it. Demon Drop comes in a very close 2nd because it was such a front-of-the-park icon at CP. All Will be missed.

Demon Drop since it was such a fun drop ride! When I was 4 I remembering being upset I couldn't ride the one at Astro World :P

Not only will I miss SDatHC, I'm going to miss Scooby himself. I know there are licensing issues with Scooby vs. Snoopy, but Scooby goes back to the origin of the park. Scooby is a part of the park. I hope he comes back for some of KIs nostalgia days.

Demon Drop for sure. It's one of my favorite flats. I love how crude and rickety it is, haha. It feels like the whole structure is going to collapse during the whole ride. I'll miss you, DD :(

well i missed sob most of the season :( , i will miss my kids eyes lighting up when they got to run up and see dora, deigo, pablo, uniqua etc. :( , and we will miss scooby doo a little but it wasnt our fav. As for DD i havent rode it cuz i havent been to CP since i was only tall enough for the kiddie rides so i wont miss what i havent rode.

I voted for Demon Drop. I don't have kids so I don't care much for the kids areas, and SOB really hurts me so I choose not to ride it anywhere other than the front seat of the blue train. Sad that you have to ride a coaster a certain way to stop your spine from being shattered..

Anyway, I rode DD on CP closing day, and I had forgotten what a great ride it was until I rode it again. It made me really sad.

Posted from my Blackberry mobile device.

Demon drop for sure. Just like DVO, it was rickety and felt unsafe and I really thought that added to the ride. That and I really felt the g's on that more than any other drop ride.

SOB is gorgeous and an engineering marvel but I just didn't enjoy it

It seems like a close match between SoB and SDatHC. I voted for Scooby because he has been at KI way longer than SoB.

It was close, choosing between Demon Drop and Son of Beast, but Demon Drop wins by a smudge.

Son of Beast- The tallest and fastest woodie in the world. Looks terrifying from the Action Zone midway. Though I do not care a lot for the ride itself...

Demon Drop- A great, old ride that is still very thrilling and is definitely unique. One of the few 1st generation freefall rides that remain.

Wow it is really close, but SOB is winning. For all the complaining that goes on about the ride a lot of people will miss it.

I voted DD, because I never got to ride it at CP. Makes me wish I took the time too. :(

Very easily, SD&THC. Not just because it's the end of that ride, but mainly because it signifies the end of Scooby at the park. As a child of the 70's, I grew up with Scooby there and it just won't be the same without him.

I'll miss DD, but not as much because I don't get up to CP that often. SoB I can live with or without. I like riding it, but it's nowhere near my favorite ride in the park. Nick U... well, I didn't like Nick kicking out HB, but I understand it from a business perspective. GatorGirl liked the Nick characters, but we both like the Peanuts gang. Welcome to KI, Snoopy!

It casts a certain ambience on the skyline :P

It would look weird seeing that just completely...empty.

Mine is 100% SD&THC but why does SoB have maybe next to it no one has decided anything yet on the matter of what is going to happen.

Methinks you answered your own question. . .

Yea going back and reading it I think I did to.

I voted Scooby Doo, he's been at the park the longest. I would have voted DD at Cedar Point but I've never actually ridden it. Son of Beast is a ride that I've NEVER enjoyed.

I think I will only miss scooby. I guess they will still have to accept spongebob and scooby cups!

"and SOB really hurts me so I choose not to ride it anywhere other than the front seat of the blue train."

HAHAHA me too I thought I was the only one who made up stories to wait for the blue train front seat. that red train had a square wheel or something

SD&THC because I love and grew up on Scooby. Also it was a dark ride, I got to shoot things, I competed for points, and I only sat with my party (no strangers). Plus it provided a unique experience that my home park Cedar Point was unable to offer.

I chose SOB over SDATHC due to the fact that the ride will still be there, just with different characters. I think my son will still enjoy the ride either way, just like the rest of the PS rides.

Oh, Son of Beast may well still be there, too, just not...uh....

Terpy, known for not saying too much too soon

Exactly, may only be able to look at it, but at least you will still be able to ride the ride formally know as SHATHC.

I would miss Nick U the most only because that's where I spent most of my time when I was younger, before that "magical" trip where I rode everything in the park. I never rode Demon Drop, so that's probably last, Son of Beast would be second to last, only because I rode it only one time. And Scooby-Doo second.
