Darkeligos Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I should be heading to Kings Island this Saturday with some buddies and I want to take my new white jacket for a test drive. For those of you who have participated in the mazes and attractions, would wearing white be the best idea? Can I expect to get a bit dirty or should I be fine in doing this? Any help is much appreciated. Quote
windshawne Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 No way would I wear white. You could brush up against a wall with some of the blood makeup and that would be all there is to it. I wear comfy well worn in clothes. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 SOme Jordan shorts and a beater Quote
Dieseltech20 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I wouldn't wear anything white at all. You have a very good chance of getting it ruined. Wear VERY comfortable shoes because you are going to be doing a LOT of standing around waiting on a Sat night. Quote
Fear the Four Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 SOme Jordan shorts and a beater That's how you do it. Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I'd strongly recommend black shirt, black pants, black shoes, black socks and a black jacket... Terp, who has many reasons for such a recommendation... Quote
Browntggrr Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 no white after Labor Day. I thought that "rule" was for shoes... Brown- getting in-touch with his feminine side. Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 And no white belts on males ever, unless it is the 1970's or you are a car salesman! Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I got my snake skin cowboy boots, jeans, straw hat, big ol belt bucket, and a fannel shirt. Quote
rotag Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 no white after Labor Day. I thought that "rule" was for shoes... Brown- getting in-touch with his feminine side. actual, that rule was based on temp. changes. when it gets cold, you want to bundle up in clothes that will absorb the warmth of the sun; as apposed to colors that would reflect it. why you think people in the desert dress in white & lights??/ Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 To make it more difficult for the snakes to see them against the blinding sun-dazzled sand? Quote
CedarPointer Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'd strongly recommend black shirt, black pants, black shoes, black socks and a black jacket... Terp, who has many reasons for such a recommendation... Oooh, then you can run into the employees and act like it's their fault for not seeing you... Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Clothing colors that will show stains, at Haunt? Big no-no. Rest in peace, my formerly nice-looking pullover that had a bad run-in at Urgent Scare '09... Apparently, fake blood shows on a navy blue fabric. :\ Quote
pcc Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 No new clothes for Haunt! Haunt WILL bite you Quote
standbyme Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 And no white belts on males ever, unless it is the 1970's or you are a car salesman! Or you happen to be in radio advertising...in Cincinnati no less. Quote
fighting31irish Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I got my snake skin cowboy boots, jeans, straw hat, big ol belt bucket, and a fannel shirt. RIGHTEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
teenageninja Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'd probably go with a pair of ripped up jeans, some "s**t stomper" boots, some sort of Nascar t-shirt, long johns, and a nice camo hat. Seems to be the in style this year. Quote
Darkeligos Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like I may be holding off on wearin the jacket. Quote
