Oldschool75
I was in Batavia today and saw some track outside of the plant that makes track for B&M. Not sure what these are for. Any ideas?????
The Interpreter
Sure looks like more Green Lantern track for the most wonderful theme park in New Jersey...
coaster_junky
^have any ideas, or any releasable knowledge, on the blue track?
Fear the Four
It's track for Reptile cage!
TombRaiderFTW
I was originally going to guess that it's for the new dive machine Krake at Heide-Park Soltau, but I'm pretty sure dive machine track is wider than that. Maybe it's Chang track, with primer already applied, getting ready for the green paint?
IndyGuy4KI
It's track for Reptile cage! I assumed it is for a roller coaster. Won't hurt my feelings if they an take that blue track to KI for a new coaster!
tycoonrebel7188
^^Krake at Heide Park is apparently going to have cars that are only 6 seats wide. I don't think there would be a need for the large Griffon style Dive Machine track. I agree with your guess that it is for Krake.
coaster_junky
^yea, looking at this picture: http://rcdb.com/9097.htm?p=32492 the track gauge looks like it's about the same as a b&m mega coaster like Diamondback.
KILateNighter
Most B&M coasters have that box section track, they say it provides a smoother ride along with the extra wheel B&M puts on their cars that runs along the side of the track. tycoonrebel7188
Well the blue track in the original pictures above is not for Krake unless Heide Park plans on having part of the layout the blue color. A recent picture on Heide Park's Facebook shows black track on the brake's and station track. In regards to KILateNighter's post, I'm pretty sure ALL B&M coaster have the box spine track. At least i've never seen otherwise. If I'm wrong, someone please let me know. I would love to see a picture of the difference.
silver2005
I heard the blue track will be for an inverted coaster to be placed at Parc Asterix. http://screamscape.c...arc_asterix.htm http://www.coastersw...ge=news&id=1258 Krake's track is going to be black. They've already started vertical construction. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=56511&start=
sam2cpa
In October/November, on 2 consecutive Wednesdays I saw a tractor-trailor with sections of track very similiar to the above heading east on I-70 at Cambridge, Ohio. The sections were green.
The Interpreter
And those trucks ended up in Jackson, New Jersey...
