Sonor_Drummer
Hhhmm I wonder the last of the ride swings will rise up.
Flat Freak
I know nothing of rides except how to ride them, but to my inexpert eye, the 50 or so seats that are attached look pretty mych ready to go. I see no reason it couldn't be done by Tuesday barring major storms. That leaves three full days for testing and certification. What testing does the state require? So many hours or so many ride cycles? I am curious because I intend to be on it with my daughter at 9:01 am six days from now.
Thrill_Biscuit
For what it's worth... Driving through Hopkinsville, I saw WS for the first time from that vantage point; it's cool to be able to judge where things are in the park from where the towers are positioned. I noticed the Eiffel Tower lit up on both sides, too, and it looks like they were testing the SS lights on the SE side of the tower. She's a comin' alive! KI FANATIC 37
I'm sure it will be done on time! Burgher are cutting it pretty freakin close!
mikejenkins1
It is odd the last seats and bars have not been attached for quite some time. Do you think they are missing parts or something? Wonder why it would not have been complete by now. Only a few to hang or is there something in the core they still need to do
vortexfan
It looks like they haven't attached the remaining arms/seats so that they can still access the center of the ride with trucks and equipment.
Creed Bratton
^^ That's what I'm guessing too...They've been inside and out of the tower pretty much all weekend.
AZ Kinda Guy
...It only took me a day to learn Delirium inside out. Sorry but you still don't know Delirium "inside out."

InnocentRyan
^ No offense... wow I said it I'm cracking up picturing someone trying to get inside Delerium. It's not as far fetched as you think. How do you think they get power to the motors? Someone has to feed the wire.
CoastersRZ
Well, sometimes on rides they run conduit up the support arms... But, yes, on other rides, like Drop Tower and WindSeeker, the arms (or in the case of those two rides, towers), are big enough for people to climb inside. Oldiesmann
I'm kind of curious why the seats aren't on yet, but if the park didn't think WindSeeker would open on time, they'd already be positioning themselves for it to not open on time (removing references on the website to it opening on opening day, etc.) What webcam are you watching? The seats have been on for a few days now.

mikejenkins1
So why the crane/truck there today? Is something amuck and thus they did not complete installing all chairs? They have not used this crane for installing other seats/bars. So was something wrong on just not there yet that they have been waiting on and now it needs installed?
Creed Bratton
Probably just to install the remaining arms and seats. They used a different crane for the others but that one doesn't appear to be on site anymore so it probably wasn't booked to be at KI this long. Jasper
It is hard to tell now with the truck in the way but how many seats do they have left to put on?

How do you think they get power to the motors? Someone has to feed the wire. I (and IBEWSPARKY, for that matter) can run wire through existing stud slots in a house but can't exactly climb through them. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone small enough to climb through any supports on Deleruim.
Creed Bratton
It is hard to tell now with the truck in the way but how many seats do they have left to put on? I think they have about 10-14 more to put on....looks like 5-7 rows left
SOB_TOM
Looks more like 4-5 rows (8-10 seats) to me. Of course that hole in the seats is big enough to drive a truck through.... I'm done with puns for this morning, thanks for the time.

I'm done with puns for this morning, thanks for the time. Yeah and the crane seems to be back down and ready to roll away and they did not hang any bars/seats with it. So what is up or what were they doing? Still wonder if they found a problem or flaw they had to weld or fix.
Jasper
Looks like the truck is gone and not all the seats are on the ride, looking more and more dismal everyday.

frisbeefan
I wonder if it will be required to use a locker? If so, it would be nice if they allowed you to use them free of charge( like Universal does with Hollywood Rip Rid Rockit and Forbidden Journey ) for the time you are on WindSeeker. Highly unlikely, but it would be nice.
DegenRider
Nah they will be a dollar an hour ATLEAST
jdawg1998
Unless they can ONLY be used for Wind Seeker, and they will check for people when they get the stuff from their lockers (which would maybe make them free) Although, would you consider the lockers in X-Base available for the whole park, or just for FoF and Firehawk?
