The Interpreter Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 What easter egg? Is SOB the easter Bunny? I thought the B in SOB stood for BEAST! Not Bunny! An Easter Egg in this context is a hidden clue that only the wise looking for it are apt to find. Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I should have added a smiley. I was joking. Quote
beastrider97 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I believe there is a part of a SOB train on the Blood Drums stage, that might be the easter egg everyone is talking about. 2 Quote
TheCrypt Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The biohazard sign from the original Son of Beast train. Black symbol, red background. It's located to the far left of the stage, on the side of the platform. 1 Quote
Hendrick Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Just posting this small update from Facebook. Someone asked if pieces of SOB were available, and KI replied back: The plaque with a piece of track and bolts are still available. Please call 513.754.5776 between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday thru Friday to purchase either item. Looks like they are out of wood. Was still hoping that some pictures would have been posted by the end of last week. Quote

KI FANATIC 37 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) Kings Islands Youtube channel just posted this, wanted to show you guys... This is the new video that was reuploaded by KI. It is the same thing but with no music Edited October 18, 2012 by KI FANATIC 37 1 Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Anyone else find the happy, upbeat tempo of the background music unintentionally hilarious? I feel like Greg Scheid and Don Helbig are dancing a celebratory waltz somewhere in the background. 3 Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Nice video! When the song came to a climax, I thought we would see the video of that large section of track fall to the ground! 1 Quote
malem Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 And the video is now marked as "private" on Youtube. Music rights issue, perhaps? 1 Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 The Youbatube is down all together. So perhaps that has something to do with it? Usually if there are copy right issues the music is just muted. 2 Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 It was just reuploaded...with no music. Quote
KI-ORIG-EMP Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I don't put it past YouTube for pulling it for the music soundtrack copyright issue. You can use it as long as you pay tribute to the copyright holder. Quote
malem Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 ^ You can only use the music if the copyright owner(s) have given permission to Google. In this case, ads will be placed on your video with the commission going to the music studio. Some music studios don't have such an agreement for YouTube videos. In these cases, the soundtrack and/or the entire video is pulled. 1 Quote
Aaron88stang Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 is someone really collecting royalties on classical music? Quote
malem Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 is someone really collecting royalties on classical music? Yes. The music itself is out of copyright, but modern performances are certainly not. Symphony performances are often complex, as royalties may be due to each performing member. Arrangements of classical pieces for modern orchestras are also protected by copyright. Getting copyright clearances on a classical performance usually isn't an easy task. 1 Quote
