Browntggrr Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Watch it be a large swing ride that will break some obscure "East Coast Amusement Park" record. Just guessing..... 3 Quote
PKIVortex Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 They already have a WindSeeker no need for another swing ride. Quote
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Soak City Expansion with a record of some sort in it maybe. They do still have WaterWorks. Quote
Mr. Christopher Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 They are sending their Dinosaurs to space. Duh. 5 Quote
Maverick00 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Rumor has it it'll be a major Planet Snoopy expansion. Possibly the largest kids area on the East Coast? Quote
HWBeast1039 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 A Soak City expansion sounds likely. Maybe they'll get the world's largest Tornado slide or something like that. Quote
jdawg1998 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 What does a rocket have to do with a water slide? Quote
kblanken Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 What does a rocket have to do with a water slide? It would have just as much to do as a race car in a jungle. I'm guessing it will be Planet Snoopy, giving them the largest kids area in the country's largest estuary drainage basin! 1 Quote
HTCO Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 LAUNCH countdown: 15 days! Retweet this and one random person will be picked to win this patch!! pic.twitter.com/QXN58fkE https://twitter.com/KingsDominionVA/status/240519858096324608/photo/1 Looks like something might be "LAUNCH"ing into the 2013 season. 1 Quote
BB1 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Dont tell me they are going to clone Millenium Force.... Lets just hope for a LIM that is better than the FoF instead of a clone. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 What? What about Millennium Force is launched, other than its debut back in 2000? 1 Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 The green train into the lake? Wrong fan website... 1 Quote
beastrider97 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Dont tell me they are going to clone Millenium Force.... Lets just hope for a LIM that is not that bad. Or maybe it's an accelerator, or not a launched ride at all? Quote
bkroz Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Or maybe they'll get a floor-drops-out-from-under-you water slide like nearby Water Country USA; a tallest-ever version. I can see the drop pod of one of those being rocket shaped. Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I really doubt its a coaster. For one, they just got I305 in 2010, and two we would probably already see work being started if it was something big. My guess is a water ride like already stated. Quote
Original Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 They already have a WindSeeker no need for another swing ride. Well, If it HAD to be a swing ride... I wouldnt mind this one! haha Pictures 071 by KIC-Original, on Flickr 2 Quote
KI FANATIC 37 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I love how its bent! Talk about thrilling. Not poking fun of the picture. Goodness know what I can make, its not pretty! 1 Quote
thekidd33 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 There are pictures of a marker in the kids area up on TPR. Quote
westcoaster Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 I hope if its Snoopy for 2013 it does not win over KI'S best kids land. Quote
faeriewench Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Maybe they will get a computer system that scans your Kings Island platinum pass without having to spend 20 minutes at guest relations. That would be a new record setting accomplishment for them. In my opinion, that would be out of this world, hence the rocket ship. Funny how I had to wait 15 min at Knotts last month for them to figure out that my Kings Dominion pass was valid for the 2012 season but yet my home park is Kings Island. Kinda funny how it has a CF logo on it but the 2 Area Managers had never herd of Kings Dominion so now I have a Knotts Pass oy vey for a stupid little card!! BTW Just ask Terp about his Carowinds Adventure a year ago with is pass that was a funn day huh Terp oh wait you did 4 hours south to SFOG lol!! I had no and still have not had issues with Knott's scanning my KI Platinum Pass. Must be KD Quote
thunderbeast1968 Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I guess we will see in a few days Quote
SonofBaconator Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I believe it has something to do with action theatre. My second guess is Planet Snoopy. If I'm not mistaken they have two kid sections so possibly a combine. But then again, the rocket stupefies me. Quote

bkroz Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 "The world's largest Peanuts themed children's area." 4 Quote
Browntggrr Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 ^ JINX! Planet Snoopy will be "World's largest Peanuts themed children's area" 2 Quote
Hendrick Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I think they're pushing just a tad to find a way to label this as a "world record"... Quote
TombRaiderFTW Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 How is that even a record?! Next year's record breaking announcement: we're the world's largest park named Kings Dominion! Regardless, that video looked decent. Seems like KD's kids' area's about to look much more like KI's. 1 Quote
bkroz Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Keep in mind that in large part, this will probably take the form of the existing KidzVille area being absorbed by Planet Snoopy. I always thought it was very, very odd that only two or three attractions became the park's Planet Snoopy while KidzVille was allowed to remain generic. EDIT: Yep. Just confirmed. Quote
bkroz Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Fountain at entry. Family care center with changing rooms and nap areas. Open-air marketplace for healthy food. 14-acres altogether. Quote
