New for 2013! Michigan's Adventure will be adding a flying scooter attraction to it's selection of family rides. We hope that everyone will enjoy soaring through the air at the park this summer.

That's two Cedar Fair parks now (Knott's and MA) that are getting flying scooters next year. Here's hoping KI's not too far behind.

Nice to see the dry side of the park get a little attention. Can't wait to try these out this summer!

The set KI had was the best in the country. Now, IB's, Camden's, sigh.

I'm assuming they're Larson scooters. (Even though that appears to be Carowinds in the picture, which means the photo actually is of our old Flying Eagles.) Yeah, Larson's scooters aren't in the same league as the Bisch-Rocco ones KI once had, but they're still fun rides. I can't really guess a reason from a business perspective why KI would ever get their set back from Carowinds, so I'm okay with Larson if that's what we would get.

Lets hope KI gets one! And call them the flying eagles:

My reaction when I saw Michigan's Adventure was 'What the heck?" I am very surprised to see them getting something new, but glad as well. It looks perfect for the park.

Combined with the great wooden coaster, an old Arrow, and a few other things (plus a big waterpark), this looks like it will be a great escape. Next time I feel the desire to travel to approximately 43.35 degrees north latitude, I can have big fun.

I'm with kblanken. WW wasn't bad; it just wasn't anything noteworthy. The drop off the double-down was really the only thing memorable, and that's just because I don't think I've ever heard PTC trains make that sound before.

It seems to be very rare that Michigan's Adventure gets very much attention so its great to hear that they get a new attraction. Can't wait until Kings Island announces a new attraction in the coming years.....

Not to mention that there's a newly vacated pad of concrete at KI that it would probably fit on. Staggered announcements and bulk purchases of dinosaurs and WindSeekers as of late make more installations seem plausible.

I'm thinking the "pad of concrete" malem refers to is what is currently the Dinosaur Alive! Party Pavilion. I thought the location would be cool, but not nearly as nice as the shrouded enclave our flying scooters used to reside.

Which one? Flying Scooters were not always where the Three Point Challenge now rakes in the moola.

The painted concrete around the water tower looks like it might be the right dimensions.

They could build the structure around the water tower, and make it part of a theme. Did Snoopy ever pretend to put out fires while flying his house?

Speaking of Thunder Alley, did Kings Island ever formally address it was being retired? I heard nothing about it until today when I saw them comment on someone's Facebook post about it.
