It's going to be a bright sunshiny day!

Must be a Sun theamed coaster going in. LOL!

Not every tweet by KingsIslandPR is about what they're building for the future.

Kings Island's forecast today includes a lot of sun.

You need to read my post a little closer. I was being sarcastic, reason for the LOL!

I was poking fun at everyone who thinks every tweet is about the new attraction.

Humor around decoding non related tweets got stale 20 pages ago... just my opinion.

Anyways. If it was a 4d coaster how awesome would this be?

As Much as I like this, This Coaster design has way to much of a thing called "Theming"... And we all know Cedar Fair's Attitude towards that... or rather, their Lack of attitude..

Can we really say that about Cedar Fair now?....

Lets give the company a few more years and see how the theming at the parks goes......Because so far, Matthew has the parks and the company headed in a good direction.

Just remember.... Out with the Kinzel - In with the Ouimet...

True. I hope they Turn that Aspect around. Personally, I think the theming of the ride, or the attraction for that matter, makes the experience. I guess thats why I harken back to the paramount days so much. The Heavy theming and the Flight Suits that the Employees at Top Gun/Flight Deck used to have. The Tomb raider Experience with the Workers telling the story and the Stone walls opening to the next chamber, "The Outer Limits" Flight of Fear, Italian Job Stunt Track <Backlot> when it actually had the Splashdown and the Lights and radio worked in the cars. These little attentions to detail MADE the ride for me anyway. I Almost hate to see whats become of Snoopys Starlight Spectacular, Whats left of the theming on Flight of Fear and The Lights that half work on Adventure Express. It Saddens me. I Still Love Kings Island, Always will, But I guess I just like to think of how much more Awesome and better things COULD be as opposed to how they are now..

I have seen that 240 deg sign there for a couple years. I believe there is also one above the front gate.

I figured it out!!!

Don's been tweeting old song lyrics..

Coaster & old songs = Freestyle Music Park - TIME MACHINE - were getting a used B&M..

Those footers are in just the right elevation and configuration for an out and back RIGHT????

All the footers near Delirium are for the double helix.

Please note this post is satirical.

Even though that post is satirical, I have information to interject. I was at Myrtle Beach last week and drove past Freestyle numerous times. Currently Time Machine is still SBNO as it has been. I didn't see any indication of any construction going on to begin dismantling it.

Not really. Nothing's happening other than concrete being poured. It's my understanding the RCDB wizards don't put a park in that section until they see things going vertical.

No. rcdb.com only lists announced (confirmed) attractions.

Otherwise, please explain this:

http://rcdb.com/7982.htm

This (http://rcdb.com/contact.htm):

Rumored roller coasters are never listed in the rcdb. New roller coasters are not listed until a park makes its official announcement. An exception to this rule is when track is spotted on site, at which point it is considered publically known.

at KK, it was part of the agreement to reopen that a new coaster would be built, so I guess you could consider that an "official announcement" from the park. As for KI, no announcemnt or steel is on site.

Can you really give Paramount that much credit? The unique uniforms were primarily in the early years, and they were notorious for creating heavily-themed rides and not maintaining them. Tomb Raider was a beautiful ride for the first year or two, then became a shell of its former self. Same could be said about the Italian Job, Flight Deck, etc etc etc. Really any ride that they themed fell apart relatively quickly. They did a lot of stuff right, but the themeing aspect wasn't one of their strong suits, IMHO.

The quote in reference was in an interview with Dick Kinzel, former CEO of Cedar Fair, in which he stated somethig along the lines of how he didn't do too much with themeing because he felt as though the roar of a coaster was enough themeing. To a small extent that could be true, but I don't think that would fly in today's world.
