i didnt mean no mid course brake run which is what you may be thinking so it can operate 3 trains, im talking about all the brakes that slow down the ride and have no other purpose than that.

Trims do not permit additional trains to be run! (See the trims on The Beast)

Kinda found this odd. On Screamscape it said that the logos on Flight Deck's trains were removed recently. If that is the case i could very well see the name being changed to "The Bat" because 1) the previous one was called that 2) if our new ride is actually named Banshee it would kinda go with the theme of the area of spooky or scary. 3) some of Dons tweets earlier in the season mentioned the old bat and flight deck. Just some food for thought.

If that is the case i could very well see the name being changed to "The Bat" because 1) the previous one was called that 2) if our new ride is actually named Banshee it would kinda go with the theme of the area of spooky or scary. 3) some of Dons tweets earlier in the season mentioned the old bat and flight deck. Just some food for thought.

Flight Deck is in need of a PAINT JOB....a SERIOUS ONE...

the stairs and the ride station are chipped away..like a bomb went off. Have they ever swept and mopped back there...either? it's always filled with dust/leaves/sticks/etc...

So, that could go along with some people's belief that we are getting the Banshee and The Bat...and that logo/color scheme is REAL...it's just not for the new coaster...it's for the Flight Deck's retheme. Then again, probably just a bunch of BS...again...

I think in order for you to win you should have to guess the name as well. No one seems to be putting that in their guesses.

it would not make sense to bulldoze flight deck, it operates with very little downtime, and is not in the way of future expansion, and adds on to the coaster count... In my opinion

don't disagree with you...it makes no logical sense to bulldoze it...unless it was in the way....of future expansion...etc...which it isnt...and I doubt never will be

It does offer a scenic (all be it...far away) view of Wolf Lodge's Pool....

it's actually alot of people's top 2-3 ride...

Just not one of my favorites....I don't dig the mile walk back to it...followed by the minute ride....

OK, here's a quick recap of my predictions...

(Earliest Sign of New 2014 Ride)
"I hope it's an Intamin Wooden Coaster! Or at least, some kind of wooden coaster!"

(Park opens, footers first appear)
"Uh-Oh. Not enough footers to be wooden...must be a B&M Giga, since construction is starting so early."

I went with the Giga for a while, until...

(Someone points out the supposed station footers look like they are for an Inverted coaster)
"Wow, I can see that...it does look like an Invert..."

And I have been in the "Invert" camp ever since. Well, except for 10 minutes or so a few days ago- that "fake" Bat web site that popped up had me thinking it was a Wing Rider for a brief peroid, though it still could be. And just for the record, even though I was kind of against a B&M Wing Rider due to Cedar Point just adding Gatekeeper this year, my initial thought upon seeing that was still...

"Cool-Looking!" (Reads more posts on this thread) "Wait...a fake web site...Kings Island PR, if that's true, wow you are good."

So pretty much while I think this will be an Inverted coaster, I'll probably be happy with whatever it is.

I had thoughts initially about this coaster possibly being a dive machine. Now that the blueprints and the track that I saw out at Clermont point to a B&M Invert, I will be happy with the decision given my experience on Dueling Dragons down in Florida several years back. But the "fake" web page I saw has me intrigued still.

What if, and a big what if, it somehow ends up being an Intamin? Was just thinking about this last night.
