intamin track on south i71 columbus

Featured Replies

3 days later, and no reports of green track on any road or arriving at any park.

I do question how a person can't take a pic but can still drive & post on KIC.

  • If by Santa Clause you mean Big Green track on I-71, then yes.

Sorry folks. Just saw this. I have some land in muernen KY. I won the powerball a few weeks ago while vacationing in Florida and wanted to hire intamin to recreate maverick in green. They told me

I'm surprised said person wasn't pulled over...

Well, we know this person is not only trolling for reactions, they are dangerous as well.

Newbie here -

Can we assume that this mysterious green track was seen heading southbound on I71 in Columbus? And now can we assume that track was heading to Kentucky Kingdom for their reopening in 2014? Kentucky Kingdom is accessible from Columbus via I71 and I65. Is this a safe assumption?

I do not know where any Intamin warehouses are, but Kentucky Kingdom is a very logical alternative for the track if not Kings Island because one would pass Kings Island when traveling this route.

I think we can assume that there was no green Intamin track, until green Intamin track shows up elsewhere. But why worry about it?

Also, welcome to KIC!

I think there are a few posts in this thread that prove there was no green track and the poster was just seeking attention. Make sure you read ALL the posts! welcome to KICentral

It is almost certainly headed to Kentucky Kingdom, they already announced a new roller coaster which is uncertain on what it is.

If it even exists, which I doubt. And why would track already be manufactured and en route to the park a month before the lease was signed, and almost as long before the financing was in place?

(Let me preface this post by saying what i saw was not new coaster construction materials)

I was fully expecting someone to post something on here about orange supports seen on route 35. (It wasn't though). Yesterday I saw a semi truck loaded with some kind of bright orange steel tubular thing. (It had nothing to do with roller coasters). With the way it was painted and the size of it, I could see someone mistaking it for a support even though it was actually bisected in two halves. (Again, it was not a support). Probably some kind of farm equipment I'm guessing. (And nothing involving a new roller coaster)

This thread will soon become: "Starting to decode 2014 farmer's upgrades"

;)

Seriously- I have seen many large things being transported on the highways that I truly believed to be track (most times while going to a park) only to find out that it was some other part for an industry I am unfamiliar with. As a time killer, we will then attempt to try & figure out what it is used for.

But isn't this thread used for not only guessing and speculating, but also a time killer?

We're simply just passing time and hoping that our guesses are right, right?

No. This is not the decoding thread. This was the Big Sexy claiming to see green INTAMIN track going down I-71 South thread.

It needs to slowly die. Replying (like I just did) doesn't help.

Terp...snickers.

Seems like there are several new accounts on here claiming to have seen new supports/steel heading to KI....clue for anyone?

Yeah I have...tell me when I've ever said that new supports/steel was heading toward KI....tell me when I've ever speculated something completely wrong.

U Mad Bro? that I said something about other accounts but didn't specifically call you out?

bro, <edit: don't want to be banned>

Aww. I was trying to start a conversation but then you had to but in and tried to call me out.

This is a conversation bro,

maybe your doubting your self coolness and think your cool by trying to call others out.

Maybe everyone will apologize to big sexy if they start installing green intamin track.

Guys, there are so many places the track could be headed. I'm sure that with the pannel of coaster enthusiasts on this site, we can figure it out!

Now lets stop with the personal attacks, and put our thinking caps on.
