sheikra_rocks Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Row 8 right hand side may get decent airtime on the turn going down the drop. I know on Montu, row 8 left hand side is like that.
YoungStud Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 You will probably enter the vertical loop around 40-45 mph.
Ride On_17 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 From Kings Island's Twitter: "Workmen have begun installing sections of track for the first drop of Banshee." This picture's perspective is really cool and emphasizes just how steep and awesome this beast is! I seriously can't wait. 11
TombRaiderFTW Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 The rotation going down that drop is going to be intense! I'm excited! 4
Ride On_17 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Steep drop + tight curve=high gs, high speed, and high thrill. Can it be April yet? 6
calakapepe Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Zero-G rolls are for weightlessness, not airtime. And I'm hoping a slow one, like we will have, will end up being more fun than the more intense ones. (like other B&M inverted coasters i.e. Raptor) 1

(like other B&M inverted coasters i.e. Raptor)What's the difference between airtime and weightlessness? 1
TombRaiderFTW Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Most zero-G rolls I've been through (Raptor, Sky Rocket, Bizarro, Great Bear, three Batmen, and [kinda] Maverick, among others) had little sense of airtime. They were more disorienting than anything else.
TombRaiderFTW Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 ^ Are you offering? Because I'm down for a trip to Tampa. 9
The Interpreter Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I have a season pass there...I really, really need to get down there.
The Interpreter Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 And non-tilted back seats. Only one like it in America. Doubtful there will ever be another. 4
The Interpreter Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Depends on how you define B&M. Honestly. 3
thoe124 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 What do you mean by that? I just want to know what the first ever coaster built by B&M was!
The Interpreter Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Do you mean designed by the two principals of B&M? Or sold by a company named B&M? You said built by B&M? I'm not aware that B&M has ever built a coaster. 3
thoe124 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Oh. What was the first ever coaster designed and sold by B&M? 1
The Interpreter Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Iron Wolf at Six Flags Great America, now known as Apocalypse at Six Flags America.
McSalsa Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I'll awnser: "Officially" it's the former Iron Wolf @ Six Flags Great America in Illinois, a stand-up coaster that wasn't exactly known for comfort like later B&Ms would come to be known for. It opened on April 28th, 1990. However, after the 2011 season, the Iron Wolf was closed and re-located to Six Flags America, where it became Apocalypse.Iron Wolf's RCDB page: http://rcdb.com/6.htm Update: Darn it! Terpy beat me! 3

McSalsa Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Suddenly, this ride runs up (somehow), screaming "NO! ONLY I AM WICKEDLY TWISTED! Banshee IS JUST REGULAR TWISTED!" (Sorry, could not resist...) 11
