Okay so i was just wondering if anyone else remembers hearing that Kings Island was supposed to get 2 new roller coasters/rides by 2015, i remember hearing about that in march and was wondering if anyone remembers this.

Not trying to start any new arguments/decoding

Hmm...2 new rides by 2015? That is possible. Banshee would count as one, in 2014, then we could possibly see something small like flat rides or something in 2015...so yeah, 2 new rides possible.

2 coasters though...ehh....Not likely, unless we are getting a wild mouse or something in The Crypt building in 2015...and those are low capacity and thus not a good fit for Kings Island.

The park is getting a 500 foot, triple inversion, 90 mph wooden roller coaster in 2015 that will go under the fountain in a glass tunnel. It's station will be the old SOB station and it will interact with Banshee, Flight Deck, and Adventure Express before travelling over the midway to the fountain. It will then feature a flyover over the main entrance before heading back toward the station. It will be built by Intamin and the track and wooden supports will be green. It will be the longest wooden coaster in the world, claiming The Beast's spot so that way the park can say they have the two longest wooden coasters in the world. Construction will start for this new ride before Banshee is completed.

This is 100% true information. Everything I just told you is a complete fact, since I heard it from the Dippin' Dots guy.

In 2015 we will get something that is a Cedar Fair chain wide attraction, kinda like with wind-seeker / Dinosaurs Alive...

The 2015 coaster could be the dark ride, Matt Ouimet was talking about, it won't be a very expensive coaster I'd day 6-7 million possibly using the old crypt building i could see a small coaster fit. It could end up being the coaster Matt ouimet was talking about the whole family can enjoy... Maybe this will be the ride that gets Disney like theming.

Cedar Fair doesn't have $100 million to blow on one park in a single season.

24 million for 2014 plus 6-7 million for 2015 equals 100 million.. Dang operating cost this 2015 attraction must be a intamin.

I'd like to the rights of a cartoon's or T.V. Show's or even a feature film's rights acquired and used in a nice dark ride, I would accaully like either a indoor log ride, and I think they could just redo Boo Blasters, They could some real theming in there.
