What Amusement Park Attractions Have You Operated?

Featured Replies

Obviously this is for someone who has operated an Amusement Park Attraction, so this is where I'd like you to fill in that little bubble above.

Tell us about some of your experiences when doing such Operations.

I guess I kind of classified Food services under vending, sorry.

I am on it...

EDIT: There you are, Food Services, Loud and Proud.

Mainly worked RT Potato Works, occasionally at RT LaRosa's, and what was then WINGS and Preston T. Tucker's Roadside Cafe.

Oh list our actual rides...well

Corkscrew/Super Himalaya

Power Tower

Matterhorn, Scrambler, Dodgem Triangle

Monster & Witches Wheel
Magnum XL-200

Mantis

Few random shifts at TTD and Iron Dragon

Basically all of Area 2 (middle of the park) has been worked on by me for a bit of time...Only ride I really missed out on training everywhere was Millie...

^Which was your favorite to work?

You always talk about Corkscrew a lot so I'd expect this one, but I could be wrong.

Roller coasters (Griffon and Alpengeist), thrill rides/flat rides (Catapult... AKA Scrambler), family rides (Le Scoot Log Flume), vending/merchandise (lockers), food services (Cedar Point: Chuck Wagon), guest relations and other.

My "other" would be transportation rides (Skyride and Railroad).

2001 - 2002 I primarily worked at Rhino Rally, but was cross trained at Kumba, Montu, and Sky Ride.

Sadly no photos from this time period.

2002 - 2004 I worked at a place called Silver Springs in Ocala Florida. I actually worked in the Wildlife Department. I conducted reptile demonstrations.

2005 when I moved to Cincy, I worked at KI in the Festhaus.

Corkscrew is always my favorite...you don't find rides that are that demanding and fin to work anymore in todays techhnology age. Plus we did have the best crew there that year...even pointbuzz and enthusiasts agreed with that which was great considering the year before my crew got there we were voted worst crew...

Big changes man

Kiddie Rides at KI, Vortex, Action Theater, Adventure Express, Viking Fury, Flight Deck, King Cobra, Zepher, Antique Cars, Monster, Scrambler, Shake Rattle and Roll, Flying Eagles, Congo Falls, Flight of Fear, The Racer, Drop Tower, Dodgem, and No idea how I forgot to mention The Beast!

I've done none of these things, but I've redesigned Tomb Raider and other rides a thousand times in my imagination... Does that count?

Woodstock's Whirlybirds, Linus' Beetle Bugs, Peanuts 500, Peanuts Off Road Rally and part of a shift at whatever the kids carousel is called now (I picked up a shift in East Pie one time)

I manually operated Baba Looey's Buggies when i was a kid, edited because i forgot to include Les Taxis
