When did the Troika get repainted? It looks so much better in that color.

Of all the coasters I wish I could have ridden, it is The Bat. Yeah I know it should be capitalized but the fact that we have turned into a forum that kicks each other over punctuation has gone to far. If 13 year olds can join this forum do you honestly think grammar and proper punctuation will be followed? This is a Internet forum, not a classroom.

Anyway..

The coaster just had an interesting layout and looks like one fun ride.

Never got to ride it was never operating when I was there. After standing in line for over an hour it shut down.

I had the privilege of riding it a quite a few times, and yes, it was one fun ride.

4th time ever on Vortex - on 8/17/2010 by KIC-Vortex_BFF, on Flickr

This was from August 17, 2010. It's a picture of me about to take my 4th ride ever (yes, 4th) on Vortex! I was 11 years old at the time.

Had I not uploaded it to my Google+ account as a profile photo along with 2 other photos from 10/23/2010, it would have been lost forever when my laptop's hard drive had failed in 2012. In order for me to be able to share them on here, I just downloaded them and re-uploaded them to Flickr. I'm very thankful they were on Google+ already, or else I would not be able to eventually share them with my fellow KICentral members right now.

Spongebob is nearly as creepy as the Haunt Jack-in-the-box.

Is that dinky fence on the original bat supposed to keep people out? ^

'Twas a different time. Believe it or not, back then, guests entering restricted areas was not a large concern for the park. I think that changed after the infamous Tower Johnny incident.

Back then, Cedar Point coasters had neither seat belts nor gates. Chutes: Stay Behind the Yellow Line. And guests...DID.

Renderings from 2004 of The Italian Job Stunt Track, now known as Backlot Stunt Coaster.

(Notice the "Siebert Shipping" label) :P

I really wish they would add water back to the Stunt Track. Even if the cannons didn't work or anything think it would look better just having some water in there.

So many depressing pictures. I never went on the antique cars (Antique Cars? Not trying to start another argument, actually asking if they were called "Antique Cars"), but that made me depressed - then The Italian Job with its yellow track, "splash" landing, overall better looking theme, and that waterfall^. So sad.

Yes, they were called Antique Cars, and I miss them still to this day.
