DonHelbig Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 For those attending media day, the news media will have priority seating for the front to get the reverse angle footage they need for their stories. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. 16 Quote
CoasterMyths79 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Thank you for letting us know that. I know that people shouldn't have a problem with this, considering that we are the park's guests and being invited to this celebration is simply just a privilege. Don, I look forward to attending this event and hope that it goes smoothly for the park. 9 Quote
sheikra_rocks Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 That's okay, I want row 8 on the right hand side. 6 Quote
DonHelbig Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 That's okay, I want row 8 on the right hand side. Excellent choice! 18 Quote
steveinphoenix Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I will just be happy riding it then. Doesn't matter to me what seat I get. 5 Quote
CoasterMyths79 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I think my favorite seat to sit will be Row 8 on the far left, so I can get as close to The Bat when the train moves through the spiral element. 2 Quote
homestar92 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 As long as I get a night ride in row 1, left side on April 18th, I will happily sit anywhere the park will let me on Media Day. 2 Quote
Gplez90 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I think Row 8 right hand side is already my favorite seat anyway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Fire-Beast-OF FEAR Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I like this. I know from Gatekeeper Media Day that it took a long time to transfer over media equipment and personnel so the more space for them the more we get to ride! 3 Quote
Kat Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I will be happy with row 2, 3, etc I am just thrilled to be a part of the event and get to ride. I'll have all season to conquer row one.... starting with April 18th LOL 4 Quote

Fair enough. Cannot wait to be there Don! Will be amazing. I did have 2 questions to ask you though. Will there be any merchandise sales during the event? I'd love to get my hands on some of that hot sauce and maybe a few other items. The second question; I was wondering if the lunch at the new stand will be complimentary or if we will need to bring money to try the new items. It wasn't specified within the itinierary. 3 Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 So excited to be back at the park after what seemed like a never ending hiatus! Any seat will be appreciated! 6 Quote
sfgamfreak Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Coming from WI to experience this record breaking coaster! Can't wait to ride this giant in any seat available!(: see you all there! 7 Quote

Oldiesmann Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I might get to go to media day! So excited! As a reminder, to attend media day you must be a current member of one of the previously-announced coaster clubs and also have registered with the park through their website during the registration period. 2 Quote

thoe124 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 What about a pass from a raffle from someone who one the scream contest? 1 Quote
jcgoble3 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 What about a pass from a raffle from someone who one the scream contest? Those passes are intended for the winner him/herself and might not be transferable. Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain 1 Quote

Oldiesmann Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 That will most assuredly not work unless the pass says she can bring a guest. The event is for invited attendees only. 1 Quote
XjoshhyX Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I would say if you could've gone with that pass, you wouldn't be able to now because of the passing of the registration date. If you are still curious I would contact a park representative for a better answer. 1 Quote

45Wheelgun Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 It looks like it is going to be COLD on media day. At least at 5am, anyway. What are people doing to prepare for <40 degrees? I'll be dressed in layers myself. I can normally fit on all rides but if I am layered up with heavy clothing I might have to sit in the fat guy row. I wonder if KI is doing any prep for the cold and how it might affect the ride. Maybe some hot chocolate for the troops? 3 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Wear warm clothing, there's your prep. Show up in shorts that's your fault lol. I'm wearing jeans, boots, and my fleece. More than enough for the morning weather 1 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Good morning y'all reading this (except you people up late like myself) Just think as I'm posting this, in 24 or so hours most of you will be waking up or making your drive to the park depending on your agenda, all to ride the new roller coaster at our park... Take a deep breath, let that sink in.. It's practically here. 8 Quote
Oldiesmann Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 In 24 hours, I'll be trying to get as much sleep as I can... One of the benefits to living 30 minutes from the park. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I hear ya, I'll be 15 minutes away from the park, I'll probably wake up about 0230 to get ready to head over. We shall see 2 Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I'm sleeping "extra tonight" (meaning roughly 7 hours) as I likely won't sleep tomorrow night. Too much school work to get done so I'll stay up writing papers until it's time to eat and head to the park. 1 Quote
