thedevariouseffect Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I've heard the ride is down for mechanical reasons currently, and maint. is working on the issue, whatever it may be. Just what I'm hearing, not exactly positive. I at first heard the ride wasn't certified for '14, and I forgot to check controls for the '14 sticker on it, but that can be checked this week. 3 Quote

jcgoble3 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 If it was open on employee day but not open to the public, then that would suggest to me that it either encountered a mechanical problem after employee day, or that it indeed has not been certified by the state yet (since IIRC, rides do not need to be certified to be ridden by employees, only by the public). That attraction opens Memorial Day Weekend. It's rather attached to Ka, I hear. Also, Big Droppy Thing (or Zumanjaro) is a better name than Drop Tower, or so I've heard. 6 Quote
