There are many out there, but which one do you prefer?

I voted "other" because I simply can't choose! I've only ever ridden one coaster I really didn't like, and even that one might grow on me if I gave it another chance.

I have favorites within categories, but can't choose a single category as my favorite. Whichever one I'm on at the moment!

Voted "other" for the same reason as Magenta Lizard.

Definitively Hyper Coaster. I love airtime and speed. Giga coaster is a close second.

Giga-Coaster. Millennium Force is my favorite. In two weeks exactly, Intimidator 305 will most likely take the number two spot on my list.

Sometimes I feel like height and speed, other times I feel like twists and turns, and sometimes I want a launch. Or maybe even tons of airtime. It changes all the time.

Laterals, negative g's, smooth, fast, laterals....

I prefer wooden coasters to steel coasters any day of the week.

Each roller coaster brings each own unique experience which brings me to a point I make quite often when folks ask me what type of coaster is my favorite.....

I don't really have a favorite "type" of roller coaster, I enjoy all the different experiences that all the types of coasters offer.

To me, it's not necessarily about the coaster type, but the experience that you have on the coaster.

All I know is that I like every type of coaster. I also know Flight of Fear is underrated.

I also had to go for "Other" because "Coasters designed by Ron Toomer" isn't a choice...

Either Hypers or Gigas for me. I need to get back to CP to ride MF and Magnum again and see how they compare with DB (and with each other) now that I've gotten a few DB rides under my belt. My most recent CP trip (5/6 years ago?) I walked away thinking MF was my favorite coaster ever with Magnum a close 2nd, but I need to re-evaluate that.

I've never ridden a wing, floorless or dive.

DB is a great ride, but it doesn't hold up against Maggie IMO, way different experiences. Ride ejector seat one time, you'll love every second of it.

Magnum isn't as good as Diamondback, no matter what you say.

EDIT: Whoops! I ment to say that Diamondback isn't as good as Magnum.

No problems with pain here..if you have the typical leg pain, grow bigger legs

Mine is a tie between Wooden coaster and anything that is giga and up. I like speed of a steel coaster and I like the feel of a wooden coaster. Mix them together what do you get? SoB (or Rocky Mountain treatment, which ever way you wanna see it).

IIRC that's why I enjoyed MF more than Magnum. As much as I enjoyed the bunny hills on Magnum, I remember "landing" back in the seat at the bottom of each one not-so-softly.

This is a tough one for me. After finally getting to ride Voyage I think it and Maverick are tied for my favorite coaster. I simply can't put one over the other. I think I just like crazy intense rides that throw you all over the place. It doesn't have to be a specific type.

One of the most out-of-this-world insane rides I've ever had on Magnum was in 1-3 after a rain storm and without trim brakes before the turnaround. This was in 2009. I think I still have the leg bruises, but holy cow.

I've ridden with trim brakes normal weather cold weather etc...hehe..
