Hmm...this will be a TBD for me. It might not be a bad thing to rest at the hotel with the nephew and come in time for fireworks and grab ice cream before heading back to the hotel. It's a rare treat for me at the park so I try to take advantage when it's a $1.

Magenta Lizard - as I'm clearly oblivious, holler at me if you see me and I don't say hi first. :)

If the baseball team is knocked out of regionals, then I will do my best to be there. Not confirming yet.

Edit: Us seniors are taking exams this week which means that I will be dismissed from school early. I only take one exam that day and then I have graduation practice. Might leave at like 10:00 and if I feel up to it, I may make the trip down to the park.

Is access limited to just those rides? Being largely uninterested in flat rides, I'm not sure it's worth the 90min drive for a few hours of just Banshee, despite it being an awesome ride.

^ It was a nice time last year.  The only thing drawback about the ride night last year is that the Banshee ride line was actually longer during the event than it was during the public operating hours.  Everyone still there was concentrated in that section of the park.  We ended up with two rides during that night - one with just shy of a half hour wait and the next about 20 minutes wait, when the wait before that had been no longer than 10-15 minutes.  I'm not saying it will be like that this year but just be aware that situation is a possibility.

It's a Friday in May, which generally means the park won't be too busy during the day.  In the evening, people will be off work and school, and thus may head to the park.  Add in the ride night and a lot of them may decide to wait on the three ride night rides until the ride night, delaying the line until ERT.  Just my suppositions and generalizations based on previous experience.

Don't forget about Starlight admission tickets that are $28.99 after 4:00pm! That may be a better option for your friend.

I wonder if the Chicken Shack will be open and/or the dining plans will be activated until midnight.

I also wish they would've added The Bat to the line up.

I don't think so. Last year it was an hour wait to ride Banshee and just miserable. Just glad to get my $1 Banshee ice cream just remember to show your Gold or Platinum pass to receive your delicious treat.

I'm putting myself down as a question mark for tonight. I was planning on going but I woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather. Last time I was feeling like this and went to KI, I had a horrible experience.

I didn't feel good all day at work but I couldn't be picked up till the park closed, which was at 8. I clocked out at 5 and had some time to kill before my ride picked me up. Rode Diamondback and Banshee one time apiece. The worst mistake was riding The Beast. After that I had enough. I just walked around the park and waited on my mom the rest of the time I was there. I felt miserable.
