Where is everyone getting this two attractions since 1972 stuff?

Don wins the internet today.  Knowing him there is always something behind every post and angle, things are very thought out.... 

They could reverse one side of The Racer again. It would be an interesting and nostalgic twist on the ride!

The folks up at Cedar Point could learn a thing or two from KI's PR department about how to build hype without seeming pretentious, and another few things from Holiday World's PR department about not botching announcements by having the surprise ruined.

All season refill cups for sale on Cedar Point website for $22.99 & usual souvenir cups also available. Brown cups on website and brown track spotted on Ohio Turnpike today. Cedar Point announcement tomorrow it's all coming together.

If this is a troll, and The Racer is spared, what if the "two things that everyone has experienced since 1972" that are leaving are the Eiffel Tower and Fountains?

It would be the perfect distraction.

 Gosh, I hope one's not the Eiffel Tower! (That's of course unless they'd replace it with a bigger, better one, and let me have/buy a piece of the original steel.)

 

EDIT: (For the record, I know I've made artwork and videos that have done everything to that poor tower, but to see it go would be truly devastating to me.)

The Eiffel Tower would cost way too much money to take down.  I'm thinking more something that been turning for awhile

Now that I think about it, a new front gate and a complete overhaul of the fountains would be perfect.

 

I think all this Racer talk is just Don trying to get us worked up. He knows how we reacted to another park removing a similar coaster.

Lets not forget the Don is a Racer junkie he would fight for The Racer to stay up as long as it was a safe ride. I am hoping for a renovation to the front entrance.

Don't want to get in trouble for having my phone out on the second day of my Freshman year but I have study hall at 2:00. I might just have to check when the teacher's not looking 

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but two things that have been at Kings Island since 1972 are the TWO Trains, Green and Blue.

"Oh, yeah, sure, Don. Just when I was within 11,788 rides of catching up to your record. Nice!  :P"

True. Considering Don's history with that beloved ride, I'm not sure he would stand for such a thing.
