calakapepe Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I think it was that balancing act that did it in. It was very slow paced, it's a great feat, but in a 25 min show, it's not the most entertaining thing. I've heard that because of rain they've had to cancel a lot of shows and I'm assuming that having a balancing act was what made it so finicky with being able to tolerate even a little rain. 1 Quote

All the Cedar Fair parks have their Haunt sites & announcements out there except for us.  Is there going to be some "huge" maze announcement they're trying to build anticipation for? 1 Quote

All the Cedar Fair parks have their Haunt sites & announcements out there except for us.  Is there going to be some "huge" maze announcement they're trying to build anticipation for?  I am sure Kings Island does not want to confuse the "average" person with showing Haunt early on the website  as they would be easily confused showing up for Labor Day weekend  and not having Haunt activities in the park. 2 Quote

Magenta Lizard Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 There is a big new asphalted pad in the field where they shoot the fireworks, that can be seen from Blue Racer. Any new road I would assume is related to that, to make it easier to get the fireworks back there to shoot off. As much as I'd prefer it meant a new Haunt in DA. 1 Quote

rhyano Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I'm still waiting to find out if Kings Island is getting a VR haunt this year, I think the number was 3 or 4 Cedar Fair parks are testing VR haunted mazes, which i think would be amazing, this information was on the most recent Cedar Fair conference call. Quote
