ethancoaster
A Skyrocket II would fit perfectly into their collection.

Not quite sure, as of me posting the picture In The Loop did not say where it was.
ethancoaster
I wonder, if instead of buying one large B&M for one park, Cedar Fair decided to split the budget between two parks and get two, more cost effective coasters. I think we might see a GCI at Kings Island and a Premier coaster at Worlds of Fun.
thekidd33
I'm having a hard time seeing 3 coaster projects in one year. KI is, by all appearances, getting some type of large coaster, KD is redoing Hurler, a third would be a (welcome) deviation from previous cap ex trends. Imperial79
Hmmm maybe Worlds of Fun is getting the Mid-thrill ride for 2017 along with the 2 flat's Cedar Fair bought.

Each park has a capital expenditure line for itself.....yes the money comes from corporate Cedar Fair but each park has it's own $ to deal with. The capital expenditure for each park is based of a lot of different factors.

Would love Kings Island to get a ride addition year like that soon. A big thrill level flat ride and a couple smaller family style flats like a teacup/Tilt-A-Whirl type ride would really help round out our flat rides selection.

Would be nice if they found another Enterprise to bring back to the park. I haven't been on one but a Topscan looks cool. Medium sized flats are probably Kings Islands weakest area.
