THE_BEASTmaster
The park doesn't open back up until the 23rd. He's probably looking at the webcam. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk

calakapepe
Now they can mix the concrete straight in the troughs themselves! #notserious Side note, the time stamp on the webcam is the real time, and the video shown has a delay of at least 49 seconds, I think *shrug *
steveinphoenix
Maybe, but i think they will still use the cement trucks to get the job done.
FoolCrzy
The crew is onsite working. The weather couldn't be better. We should see some good progress this week.

Infinity
When do you think they plan on finishing construction on the ride itself? Do they even plan a specific date/month/week when it should be done?

upstop
I'm guessing that the majority of the work will be done before January. They seem to be moving pretty quickly now.

That actually gave me a good laugh. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like Lightning Rod (I doubt it will).
CoastersRZ
This ride is not a prototype, so there should be no issues like what happened with Lightning Rod. Could there be unexpected delays for one reason or another? Sure, particularly weather related delays if we get a bad winter storm, or a period of extended rain. I am sure that they have built in some time for weather related days into their construction schedule.
dragsterguy21
Has it been said if it will get the soft millennium flyer trains or the stiff ones like on Ghostrider? I know some of the ptc trains are Carowinds are super soft unlike at KI or CP.
Pagoda Gift Shop
Well, to be fair, I don't think Lightning Rod had any vertical construction issues. It was more the testing phase when the problems started happening. My guess would be that vertical construction on Mystic Timbers would be completed in January or February depending on the weather.

I thought all Millennium Flyer trains were created equal.
CoastersRZ
Of the GCI coasters I have been on (Gwazi, Thunderhead, American Thunder at Six Flags St. Louis, Lightning Racer and Wildcat at Hershey, Prowler at Worlds of Fun, and Apocalypse, the Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain), all the Millenium Flyers have been the same, except for thematic elements on the front of the trains. And from the pictures I have seen of Ghost Rider (which I rode last year on my honeymoon, pre-GCI renovation), Ghost Rider`s trains are the exact same as all the other Millenium Flyer trains.
jbum123
Whatever MF trains on Lightning Racer, I want those! (And the entire coaster would be nice!)
AdventureExpress35
I've never ridden a GCI but everything I've heard about millennium flyers is great. Lots of leg room and a comfortable lap bar. I am really looking forward to riding this thing in April.

upstop
T-bars! Yay! The most comfortable seats around. I've been watching the build during break and lunch. Man they are plugging along LOTS of digging and pouring going on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rockfrog33
I think track work has started on the bottom of the first drop.

THE_BEASTmaster
Looks like they're building the catwalk that runs along the track. Like in the picture below. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
Rockfrog33
The catwalk has been there since last week. They were putting the tread bars on it Friday. And if you look at it on a desk top or larger laptop, just above DB second incline you can see what appears to be a parallel running boards. I'll add a picture later.
