Now they can mix the concrete straight in the troughs themselves!

#notserious

Side note, the time stamp on the webcam is the real time, and the video shown has a delay of at least 49 seconds, I think *shrug *

Before opening day.... Amy who just had to

Sent from.... Hello is this thing on?

Haha! I assumed! That actually gave me a good laugh. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like Lightning Rod (I doubt it will).

This ride is not a prototype, so there should be no issues like what happened with Lightning Rod.  Could there be unexpected delays for one reason or another?  Sure, particularly weather related delays if we get a bad winter storm, or a period of extended rain. I am sure that they have built in some time for weather related days into their construction schedule.

Well, to be fair, I don't think Lightning Rod had any vertical construction issues.  It was more the testing phase when the problems started happening.

My guess would be that vertical construction on Mystic Timbers would be completed in January or February depending on the weather.

Has it been said if it will get the soft millennium flyer trains or the stiff ones like on Ghostrider? I know some of the ptc trains are Carowinds are super soft unlike at KI or CP.

What's the difference?  I thought all Millennium Flyer trains were created equal.

Of the GCI coasters I have been on (Gwazi, Thunderhead, American Thunder at Six Flags St. Louis, Lightning Racer and Wildcat at Hershey, Prowler at Worlds of Fun, and Apocalypse, the Ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain), all the Millenium Flyers have been the same, except for thematic elements on the front of the trains. And from the pictures I have seen of Ghost Rider (which I rode last year on my honeymoon, pre-GCI renovation), Ghost Rider`s trains are the exact same as all the other Millenium Flyer trains.

T-bars! Yay! The most comfortable seats around. I've been watching the build during break and lunch. Man they are plugging along LOTS of digging and pouring going on!

The catwalk has been there since last week. They were putting the tread bars on it Friday. And if you look at it on a desk top or larger laptop, just above DB second incline you can see what appears to be a parallel running boards. I'll add a picture later.
