Only 3 Vekoma Flying Dutchman Models exist. It also gets quite the lines.

Just because there is a line doesn't make it a good ride for the park.

I'm saying to ride Firehawk, you need a locker or give your items to a non-rider, which makes KI money. Like FoF.

Like FoF. FoF doesn't require a locker at KI, and I've been surprised at what the ride ops have had me take on the ride. Both a full drink cup and my camera bag full of gear have been for a ride. SonofBaconator
I'm sure those lockers will be utilized if the new coaster comes to X-Base
kingsislandfan1972
Firehawk really needs a new paint job... oh wait never mind...
Klabergian Empire
WE NEED TO RETURN RACER TO ITS FORMER PAINT JOB. They really need to. It will look better.
SonofBaconator
Firehawk is removed from this list since its now a defunct ride, here's the original data prior to its removal if anyone wants to look at it.
NewD4y20
I'd like to see all the coasters get a new coat of paint in between seasons. It just helps keep the park looking nice. So all the ones that shouldn't be torn down is my answer.
CoastersRZ
That would be extremely expensive to paint all the coasters every off season. And not really necessary every single off season. Yes, Diamondback`s supports are starting to fade. As are Vortex`s. Keep in mind also that painting coasters is not a very cheap undertaking. We are talking in the six figure range, at least. IndyGuy4KI
I wonder how much general touch ups happen each offseason. That is reasonable.
VortexBFForever
With the arrival of Kings Mills Antique Autos, I am really hoping that Racer and Vortex get repainted. Both of them need it. The last time Vortex got new paint was nearly ten years ago (2009) and I have absolutely no idea when Racer was last painted. I was actually looking at Vortex pictures from 2003-2004 (not long after its 2001 repaint) in the KIC photo gallery and it looked amazing compared to today where the orange rails are pretty much yellow! I also noticed the blue paint on several supports was starting to peel while riding Vortex on Closing Day.

Also very dangerous if you aren't properly secured. The company that Cedar Fair works with out of Newport KY is one if the best and they use a ton of safety precautions when painting a ride.
