UncleHenry Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Very nice pics. It's so weird seeing Beastie yellow again. Quote
Alien Seed Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Why does nobody ever have pictures of the smurfs? I miss them. Quote
KIBeast Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Wow! Great shots! I love the pics of The Bat, Bayern Curve, Zodiac, Skyline, Monorail, Tumble Bug, Der Spinnin' Keggers. I would like to see the Smurfs as well. Quote
Scooby_Doo Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I do I have loads of pictures of the smurfs when they were at the park but sorry I cant post them on the web they are in my KI photo book at home but any who yeah great pictures. Quote
Vortex Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Glad you like the photos the reason their are no Smurf pictures is that the pictures you are looking at are from 1981 and the Smurfs did not come till 1984. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I loved those pics keep them coming guys. Quote
PKI_Diana Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 One of those photos I believe is mislabeled. One is labeled as being part of KCKC, when in reality it is an ariel shot of Kings Mills Log Flume, now known as the Wild Thornberries River Adventure. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Yep, you are correct PKI Diana. Here is the picture in question. It is no doubt the Kings Mills Log Flume, not Kenton`s Cove Keelboat Canal as the caption states. Quote
Ben Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Didn't Kings Mill Log Flume have a hill with two lanes? Quote
PKI_Diana Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Yes, but two lanes ONLY at the hill.... Edit: TRTR is correct. I misread the answers. KCKC had the double chute, not Flume. Flume had one chute, isn't as tall as KCKC was, and most of the track was lower to the ground, instead of being up in the tree tops. Quote
TRTR Guy Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Kings milll flume/ wild thornberies never had a double chute it does have a dual station though, KCKC always did have a double chute. Quote
AZ Kinda Guy Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 KCKC had that sweet ass station too. I loved working there. Quote
