I'm planning on making a quick trip down to PKI this weekend to take pictures. I wanted to know if I was actually aloud inside the park to take pictures.

nope, parks closed to everyone except employees, or those with permission.

Is the parking lot off limits too?

I dont think so but I am not 100 percent sure.

Dont know, they use part of the parking lot for a park and ride, but I'd assume since the main gates for the parking lot are closed they don't want people in it, there is always the metro bus stop near the sign.

The employee lot is usually open, whenever I've been up there. But you can't see anything from there.

Basically, people aren't going to be seeing anything until training starts next month.

Yea, and dont forget that the park has 24 hours park security, including the parking lot and inside the park. Plus, they have the IJST track out front in the main parking lot and you may get into a lot of trouble for being there w/o permission. (yes, the tracks are still there, i saw them last night b/c i drive right pass KI to work everyday.)

Right on! But I feel bad for the people who pay to go on the helicopter near FOF. How much does it cost to fly in the copter anyway?

The pad is still there, but the helicopter thing hasn't been running for a while. Right now, it's just an empty cue line and a landing pad.

That helicopter attraction didn't have too many customers at least during the time i worked on FOF, whenever i was at greeter it would usually just sit there empty with an occasional flight.
