SonofBaconator
I know we’re in the early 2020s but I’m always looking into the future based off of what’s happening now in the chain and the industry. Will parks be acquired or sold? Will parks like Valleyfair and Michigan’s Adventure get new coasters to call their own? Will we see a return of Intamin and RMC? Will more parks be open on weekends or potentially year round? Etc
WoodVengeance
I think Valleyfair is more likely to get a new ground-up coaster than Michigan's Adventure (probably from Zamperla or Vekoma). Though I imagine one, if not both of those parks will get relocated coasters from CGA once that park closes.

Honestly the only coaster at CGA that seems like to be relocated is a model that both VF and MA already have.

Are Railblazer and Patriot out-of-the-question?

Railblazer could be a possibility because of its size but I know the thing has had a lot of major problems and people say its not really built to be disassembled easily. Patriot is over 30 years old. My guess is that the trains will end up on its sibling at Carowinds instead. But I'm certainly no expert on these things. I'm kind of going based on what some more knowledgeable people have said. I personally think Carowinds would see Vortex (along with Nighthawk) scrapped in favor of a new ride. I think if they wanted to keep Vortex going, they would’ve given it floorless trains years ago. Patriot’s trains might go to Cedar Point, Dorney, or Kings Dominion when the time comes (the same can be said for Flight Deck being recycled for Raptor, Talon, or Afterburn.) On the subject of California’s Great America, barring any unforeseen circumstances, I wonder if there are parks in the chain that have already called dibs on the CGA’s flat rides.

Railblazer has been having issues just like wonder woman at SFFT so I really don’t think it will be relocated. I think it may be the first RMC to get demolished. If Valleyfair wanted an invert I wonder how much cheaper it would be to relocate Flight deck and retrack it. I don’t know if the price would be cheaper but that could be an option. I have no clue on Gold Striker. It’s a 50/50 shot on if it gets relocated. If it were to be relocated Carowinds would be the best fit. But I don’t know how easy it would be to relocate it. I think Psycho Mouse probably has the highest chance to be relocated. I think it would definitely go to KI if it got relocated. We are the only park in the chain without a wild mouse. I think Patriot will be scrapped. It’s over 30 years old already had the floorless treatment and I don’t think any park would want a 30+ year old B&M that they will just have to tear down in a few years. Any other coaster they have I think will be scrapped as well. Maybe Lucy’s crabby cabbies could go somewhere else but I don’t know where it would go. If a woodie is relocated, do they just take the plc, chain, sprockets, etc and build new structure with the original blueprints? Ok do they literally move the bents and track? I know there have been relocation of Woodies but I never considered the process.

What we do know about Vortex at Carowinds is that it did not end up getting the Mantis>Rougarou treatment, which CFEC had talked about. Much like the dark ride initiative during the Ouimet era, the standing to floorless conversion didn't quite work out as they hoped. Instead, Vortex has stayed open as a standing coaster, until such time as it is not economical to maintain compared to its ridership, or the park wants that specific plot of land for new development. Basically, it's on borrowed time, but it's a B&M so like the Energizer bunny, it just keeps going.

The track is removed but the bents themselves are relocated.
