SPONGEBOB_FAN_97
Boo Blaster isn’t going to make out of this decade, and a replacement is on the horizon. They could take out the ride system, gut the building, and replace it with the Midwests only All Indoor Straddle Coaster. This would be similar to DarKoaster in that it does two separate laps via a switch track, and would have subtle theming differences between each lap. Story goes Boocifer is back and you have to hop on motorcycles to escape him and the spirits around the house. Thoughts?
Diamondback_Is_King
I think if they did that, they would get the whole "Boocifer" thing and go with a new theme. Not a lot of space to work with though. I think they'll just improve the targets/guns. They should get the guns Carowinds has; they're a lot better!
johnjniehaus
I personally would not be opposed to a straddle coaster like the one at BGW. I thought was a really fun family ride. However, I would rather see it go into the tomb raider building and possibly reuse some of those sets. Imagine whizzing past the goddess on a straddle coaster? Sounds pretty good and the que theming is still solid in there too.

Honestly if they just extended the back of the building a little, or maybe this is similar to that "indoor/outdoor coaster" seen in the surveys. Something like that sounds awesome, though they need to work on the reliability aspect. DarkKoaster might be the least reliable ride at BGW, though I've heard part of this is due to issues with the track switch

Stoan
I already didn't like BooBlasters very much having taken away my beloved, but seeing what's possible at Disney with tracked dark rides that involve blasting with Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin really really makes this show is age. They could still use the space (pun) for the same kind of ride, but it definitely needs a major overhaul.
BeeastFarmer
I'm still surprised that shooting rides are designed for children in light of gun violence.

kingsislandfan1972
It seems to be a big discussion about the state of Boo Blasters, I'm up for anything at this point hopefully they'll make it back into a classic haunted house ride like Phantom Theater, however I would like to see a new indoor coaster and the old Tomb Raider ride. Losantiville Mining Co.
I believe Boo Blasters is a Sally Ride trademark, so whatever goes in would either need to be a collaboration or not use any of the current BBoBH themes/IP. There would also possibly be some issues trying to fit a coaster in there due to the ceiling heights — no matter how low to the ground it is. Personally, I'd like to see another omnimover dark ride go in there. Save the coaster for an already vacant spot in the park.

That would be a good idea, if they did that I would like to see the other half of the ride vehicles return from when they removed them from the renovation of Phantom Theater to Scooby-Doo. super7
Bad idea. The chain is struggling from low attendance for two reasons. Bad treatment of customers and the lack of attractions for non-thrill riders They don’t have enough attractions for non-thrill riders. They only focus on trail riders and little children so most people in society have no interest of going to the park because there’s nothing for them to do. Replacing a slow moving ride with a thrill ride only amplifies the 2nd problem.
Losantiville Mining Co.
Kings Island already needs two more slow-moving attractions like the Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad, Grand Carousel, Kings Mills Antique Autos, and Boo Blasters. I'm hoping for a Phantom Theater revival to replace Boo Blasters. A river cruise attraction would be a good addition elsewhere in the park. Addition through subtraction is not a good model for a park that needs to expand by another attraction or two. Replacing Boo Blasters with another slow-moving dark ride will be a well-needed refresh.
Stoan
The building is too small do to a fancy dark ride like the Mickey and Minnie runaway railway Hollywood Studios. But that would work well I think. Keeping in the same vein as Phantom Theatre and Boo Blasters, but more dynamic and easier to maintain I think as it's most lights and not animatronics.
