Diamondback_Is_King
When you visit Kings Island, what is your go-to food place to eat at? What about your favorite place to get a snack? Meal plan or not, I want to hear your opinions! Mine is either Coney BBQ or Brewhouse. I prefer Coney, but I somehow seem to always be at Brewhouse when I'm there! Probably because it's next to Mystic and Diamondback
faeriewench
It used to be I-Street LaRosa's when there was more trees. Our more recent visits had to be Festhaus simply cause its indoors, bonus was my daughter meeting the legendary Theresa.
BB1
Chipotl…..erm I mean Enrique’s or the Coney BBQ. It’s mainly due to the value you get for the meal but also they both have excellent patios.

kingsislandfan1972
Bacon & cheese fries from Potato Works in Rivertown, it's a definite must try! Also a Blue Ice Cream cone in Planet Snoopy, (personally I like mine with sprinkles!)

It is a lesser place now with the lack of said trees, but its still cool-ish with the added moisture coming off the fountain. Also helps if there is saxophone ERT going on at the bandstand. I'm also fond of the Coney Skyline patio and the RT Potato Works patio. There's a bunch of the traditional foods I haven't had in a while at KI which I will try to remedy this season- blue ice cream, funnel cakes, and the Potato Works fries. I do fancy Auntie Anne's pretty often as well, especially their cinnamon pretzels and flavored lemonade. Also, Jukebox- completely underrated, albeit very busy most of the time. Losantiville Mining Co.
Brewhouse (good), Potato Works (easy), and Jukebox (fun) are my top 3. Being a simple man, if I can get a good hot dog, burger, or fries then I'm set. I have complaints, but the food experiences are high on my list of reasons to love Kings Island. I tracked my meal/drink plan usage for 2024 and an overwhelming majority of meals across six CF parks were good/great. While the food is great, the seating areas are not as stellar. Places like Jukebox need more seating on the Backlot side, while places like Potato Works need a better system for ordering/announcing when food is ready. There have been a few times when I've been at Potato Works and cannot understand what is being said because of the partitions. It would probably behoove the park to implement some order number systems at restaurants like Potato Works and Skyline where you have to wait at a window for your food to be made. Put a TV up at the window and number each order — although IDK if the point of service system the park uses has that option — then nobody would need to rely on asking for names for orders.

I can't tell you how many times the person is so quiet that they say the name and only the front two people in this massive crowd can hear them. Then, the buyer never gets them until the fries are cold. On top of that, it's also hard to hear when the train is going "TOOT TOOT!" and Mystic is going "WEE WOO" at the top of the lift hill. Not complaining about the spot (I do like to watch the train and Mystic go by ) just that I can't hear sometimes and get cold fries...And nobody wants cold fries. jbeast
My go to is the Brewhouse. Love the Pub Burger and the air conditioning as well as the bar. The burnt ends at the Smokehouse is another personal favorite. Over on the other side of the park, Potato Works has always been my favorite.
KIfan73
For many years, it was always RT LaRosa's. Then I switched to Coney BBQ, then Brewhouse the last few seasons.
