We had them....they became the Fast Lane line.

And apparently the single rider line trial during Winterfest didn't work and they went back to making them Fast Lane.

Money persuaded them into Fast Lane at Winterfest ;)

What was the FastLane line used for on Boo Blasters before FL was implemented?

I'd happily support a single rider line even if it was integrated into the FastLane lines. It'd have to have the wristband or printed ticket in that case for entry, but I'd support it.

Back in the day it was a gold pass benefit, you could get a little booklet of timed return tickets (like FastPass 1.0) if you got there in the morning. I believe Backlot, Beast, and the log flume also had it.

That would defeat the purpose of FastLane all together. lol

People who came to the park together were suddenly all single riders entering the line at the same time. That played a big part in the elimination of the Single Rider lines.

Why would parties entering the single rider line be bad if they were okay with splitting up? When I go to Universal or Disney we all enter the single rider line because we don't mind splitting up. It's a great way to save time if you don't care about splitting up. We always did single rider for Smuggler's Run unless we were with other people who wanted to go in standby. It was never longer than 5 minutes. And if the line ever got too long, the attendant at the front would close the line. I'm not sure if I understand your statement.

Because our guests entered the single rider line DEMANDING to not get split up in single rider line and the ride ops were getting verbally abused.  They were not ok with getting split up.  Just not worth it. Keep it FL and make some money.

Now it makes sense. Thanks for the clarification! :)

Disney does a good job at splitting guest in the singer rider line, regardless of age. However, at Holiday World the singer rider line gets abused by groups on the regular.

I'd really like for single rider lines to come back, but I'd hate for the associates to get verbally abused again. Maybe it could work if failure to comply meant a quick call to security and a swift removal from the line. Seeing how line jumping often gets handled — or rather doesn't always get handled — does not bode well for them being able to come get aggressive guests in a single rider line.
