MaestroJr Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Besides the fact that the Flash Powder barrel is still used at the exit for The Beast, these are the current original Phantom Theater props still being used in new Phantom Theater Opening Nightmare. 1. Balcony where maestro stands 2. Ride system and Cars for the ride 3. 99 % sure that Wall bust near the electrician is an original Phantom Theater queue prop 4. The ledge where maestro pulled back the curtain at the beginning of the ride may still be there but currently their is a curtain there blocking it, the candles at the end of the ride were original candles and they were removed during remodeling this year for the new ride. 5. The Chandeliers in the queue are originals and they are also retrofitted this year with additional lights to simulate lighting that’s all I can think of for now be sure to let me know if you guys have more. 2 Quote
kingsislandfan1972 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Honestly I wish the candles were still on the way out near the exit, I wish they would have kept that there. 1 Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I doubt the bust is real. They moved them to the KIT for the show and they were kind of in bad shape then. It does look pretty dead-on so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s from the same mold. Quote
BryanJay Posted April 22 Posted April 22 The bust that was used was an original and was only removed when they demolished Boo Blasters. I believe all four were repainted since I’ve seen videos of them in their updated state, but strangely I think only one is being reused for the ride. Maybe they tested to see which one was in the best state, and this was the one they chose. 1 Quote

Super cool photos, I figured it was an original, I thought since they already have these busts their was no need to re create them when they already look alright, I wonder if they plan on using the other ones Quote

I think that adventure port got rushed a bit and a couple scenery pieces they showed on Facebook for Adventure Express never did make it to the final version (for example the repainted masks that were on the first lift). I'm wondering if they rushed PTON slightly to make sure it would open for opening day and didn't have time to finish the other busts Quote
Losantiville Mining Co. Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I've been trying to figure something out for a few years now and realized I can just ask y'all. Who is this gentleman from the original Phantom Theater? The only character I could think it would be is one of the audience members during the Pepper's Ghost scene. His static, non-exaggerated face tells me that he wasn't any of the main cast. 1 Quote
beastfan11 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago You got it. He was an audience member in the Pepper’s Ghost scene. His look was inspired any Andy Warhol. 1 Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I was telling @teenageninja this after our first ride, but if I’m being honest—I miss Boo Blasters. Quote
