italianchef Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 That is great - and I want to go. But my 76 year old father and his 72 year old girlfriend are flying in from Florida to visit me that weekend. They are not in shape, not do they desire to partake in such activities. I hope that I can attend the next event at PKI. My family and I went to weeks ago and I was planning to visit this Saturday. However, I was asked to act in a public access TV show this Saturday - and I need as much experience and publicity as possible. I hope that those of you who can make it have fun. You'll find me at PKI this Father's Day. Have a great day! Italian Chef Quote
Reclaimer Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Meh. I was going to go, but now I have to go to this thing for school that I was selected for...a friggen week-long thing that stars on....what day?....the 11th! Quote
Ryan Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 Sadly I too can't go, I have ACT's that day. To everyone who goes, have a great time! I'm sure Jeff and the rest of the PKI marketing team will make it a very fun experience like it was last year! Quote

PKI Dude Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I'm not working that day. Awesome! I'll be there! If there's another scavenger hunt like last year, we'll surely be through HB. Quote
PKISteve Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Just as a reminder... There is a Flight of Fear Behind the Scenes tour at 8:15 that morning so get there early. How often do you get to go inside the spaghetti bowl with the lights on? It's a side of the ride you don't get to see often. Hope to see you all there! PKI Dude Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 Not often! I've been in there ONCE, at Fall Freak Out, but i've got a new camera now so i must go again! I've been pre registered for weeks. Can we expect another Sadistic Scavenger Hunt? last year's was WICKED. Quote
PKI Punk Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Fall Freak Out scavenger hunt was fun. Oh yeah, if you were there and remember, I was the guy in the Louisville hoodie and hat that got third place. Here is a pic of me...confused. http://photos.pkicentral.com/displayimage....album=13&pos=13 Quote
ZosoBeast Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 you must be confused, you look like a bunch of pipe! Quote
Captain Nemo Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I would be there but I'm working at the airshow. Where else do you think I would be. Hey, if you know my name (don't post it if you do) and go to the blue ash air show look for my nametag! Quote

Steve Boehmker PKI Marketing Communications Steve's right. Last year when we got to go in there for Fall Freakout it was the highlight of the day in my opinion, except getting only one question wrong on Stevie B's scavanger hunt (it's GHASTLY Manor, not GHOSTLY Manor) Lesson learned, I guess. pkiboy Posted June 23, 2005 Author Posted June 23, 2005 It was a great event. I only did The Beast walkback. I also helped Maureen with her Kings Island facts. she called me the PKI quiz guy. Jeff did not come so Maureen led the tour. she was great. I had a great time. I hope we have another tour like this soon. Quote
pkiboy Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 I just was in the video gallery i just saw the new beastbuzz video. great job guys. keep it up!!!!!!!!! Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 You were wrong about a few things pkiboy... Quote
ZosoBeast Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 PKIboy, I heard you mention that both chain lifts are done out of one engine box. I am pretty sure you are wrong on this account. Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Its obvious that there are two, when you walk under the first you see one, then next to the second there is another. It would be very hard to run both lifts off of one motor. It could be possible if the lifts where lined up, but they arent. Quote
