New Skyline

And actually. the Footlong Express Skylin location appears to have been vacated by Skyline altogether. They no longer have the Skyline Menus up. Could this be a new restaurant in 2006? Or just a temporary move of Skyline to the front of the park for FearFest and Winterfest to allow for indoor eating in warm air on those nippy days like Sunday!

My guess is that Skyline is there to stay. The thing that's curious about it is that it seems as though PKI always followed Walt Disney's theory about the main street, in which people will inherently enter on the right side and exit on the left, thus food stands should always be on the right since people will be checking out what looks and smells good as they enter, and souvineer stands and shops should always be on the left because people will be likely to pick up souvineers on their way out.

This seems to hold relatively true for PKI, I mean, there are probably more shops on the right side than Walt would have wanted, but you do pass a long string of restaurants. With the exception of whoever happens to be currently occupying the area were Skyline is now as well as the place the sells the funnel cakes (loosely speaking since it's kind of around the corner) there are really mainly shops on the right.

I never liked skyline.

What is it about Cincinnati and putting cheese on EVERYTHING?!?!?!

Funny Story! Before I moved to Atlanta, had a buddy up to visit from there. I took him to Skyline. (as ya always have to experience Cincinnati food when you're in town) They brought the three way out to him and he told the waitress that the amount of cheese on it was "obscene." LOL, the waitress told him that some fok even order extra cheese!

I hate it when I go to the "Wandys" and ask for a plain hamburger and they put cheese on it. I always have to give them the exact things that I want cause they will always put cheese on it.

Wendy's is originally from Columbus though, so maybe the cheese is an Ohio thing? Seems to make sense to me, cheese goes with anything. chef.gif

Yes Skyline is cheaper outside the park, but not by much (drinks are obviously cheaper outside the park.) The 3-ways and 4-ways are only marginally more expensive (like 30 to 50 cents. What they get you on is the serving size is smaller at PKI.

Actually the prices I beleive on the food is the same. I went to SKyline today, cause I was craving it after talking about it hehehehe. And I remember looking at the prices going out of the park on Saturday Night, and the prices at least on the 4 ways are the same. Serving size may be smaller not sure. But of course like what was already said PKI gets you on the drinks.
