Gordon Bombay
Ready for the ultimate PKIC easter egg? Click here to see the 20th anniversary video. Just a little thing I've been sitting on for a few years. You wouldnt happen to have a better qaulity video of that would you? I just dont expect low quality from Ryan Suhr. StXsteven
I certainly like Scooby-Doo & The Haunted Castle more so than PT. Some things I would like to point out -There is NO cardboard cut-outs it's WOOD not cardboard. -There is a 3D effect where Shaggy is running away from the Werewolf.(Just like PT had Full 3D Ghouls) -Yes Scooby has a larger fanbase(like^ said) Thats why the castle is always crowed. -Did you know that there are cameras in the haunted castle just like they had in PT(most guest didnt know that) -Scott Innes provided the voice for Scooby & Shaggy(he voices scooby & shaggy in the direct to dvd movies) Scott innes was at PKI's Sneak Preview in 2003 for the opening of the haunted castle and is a HUGE scooby doo fan like myself. My bad, but they LOOK like Cardboard IMO.. Where is this 3D effect you speak of? And hopefully there's camera's in there haha what was the point of mentioning that? I don't vandalize. Scooby_Doo
^ No the cameras are all over the ride from the second you walk into the ''haunted hallway'' your being watched. There are a few 3D parts in Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle you just have look for em...Shaggy playing the organ...Scooby popping outta the bed with a ghoul...Shaggy running away from the wereworlf etc... Here is a some pictures of the haunted castle when it was being rethemed and opening day Scooby Doo & The Haunted Castle Pictures Construction & Opening Day
StXsteven
yeah I've seen shaggy on the organ, but thats the only one. But even that looks really fake.. I'm not saying it needs to be human like.. but atleast PT had a realistic look and feel to it. I know Scooby is a cartoon.. but he also has 2 movies haha. IDK I just don't like all the colors to heavy and fake for me, but hey everyones got different tastes.

Why have realness on a ride based on a cartoon? besides those live action movies were done by Warner Bros not Paramount. nope no ''realness'' because its a ride based on a Cartoon with Neon effects. Well honestly Scooby-Doo has 3 movies(Pup Named Scooby-Doo:Scooby Doo 3 is coming out in mid 2007 with a new cast which I will add well the only ones returning are Linda Cardellini(Velma) & Matthew Lillard(Shaggy) Daphane & Fred are played by unkown actors at this time kinda like the new Superman movie's Brandon Routh.) I was told thats one the reasons PT was taken out due to the realness of it.. it was hard to care for.
paramountfan
When the ride first opened there was a special on it on network TV, although I can't remember which channel. It showed a lot of the ride footage. If anyone can find a copy of this they'll win 1,000 PKIC Bucks. As you guys know, PKIC bucks are good for.......nothing, but still try to find it. I think I know what video you are speaking of. It was the 20th Anniversary Special that aired on network television. It concluded with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Phantom Theatre. I have it on VHS, but I will see if I cant transfer it to DVD and/or get it on the net.
beastfan11
honestly phantom theatre was great... it may have taken a lot of $$ to keep it up ... but hey so is SOB..ha yeah scooby was good in the enchanted theatre the phantoms kicked it out on there side..... but yet again paramount screwing everthing up... my favorite ride... gone

The was the 20th year of Kings Island Special on Channel 12. I have a copy of it but is very small and was made for a ipod video. The file its self it very big it does not show alot of the ride. It shows mostly pictures of Kings Island back in the 1990 and Coney Island before it closed down.

PhantomTheater
I loved it! brought back many memories. But one concern, the centurian is missing.
DeLorean Rider
The Centurian and the shakespere guy are both missing. Its because they were both part of the video playback wasnt it jeff. I dont have them either. and
Alien Seed
Both of those sounds had to do with the projector systems used on the statues, they weren't downloadable from the main port as far as I know.

CoastersRZ
Well, whenever I try and listen to it, it cuts out after about a minute and a half (at the "Hey, who`s out there?" part). It attempts to rebuffer, and then just stops. Anyone else have that problem?
