  1. Cedar Creek Mine Ride. It would be enjoyable if the restraint wasn't trying to reassign my gender.

  2. Does anyone know where the rock-o-planes ended up going?

  3. Haven't been active on the forum much since early september but I've had a lot going on recently. I did manage to go a lot after that and really tried to focus my rides on Orion. I managed to get 307 rides in with the last ride being Sat Oct 31. I did go to Cedar Point on the 1st, but unfortunately didn't ride any coasters as everything but corkscrew was closed due to the wind lol

  4. There's essentially power running along the entire ride, I'm sure you could tie into spots where there are pumps, operator booths, etc. What I think would be really cool is if they would add a night time lighting package to it.

  5. LOL. The question is accurate. The character flipping the lights/using a flashlight, although not named afaik, was not an usher. (I called him a janitor in the quiz, but he could have also been referred to as a stagehand I guess.) The Usher(s) wore red and simply pointed, this guy was dressed differently and held a flashlight in his right hand, which he shined on buggies as they passed by. ;-) Photos below... courtesy DAFE... show the difference. The pic cuts off the flashlight.

  8. Its sad that its another park I will miss out on. The second I heard Elitch Gardens was closing I flew to Denver to make sure I didn't miss the park. I was a year shy of GL in Ohio before it closed.

  9. The man who founded Surf Cincinnati before selling it in 1990 died recently at the age of 76. I'd known him through church for decades but had completely forgotten about the Surf Cincinnati connection until I read his obituary (though only visited the park once and that was well after he'd sold it). https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/frederic-schatz-obituary?pid=197457101
